Hampton Creste Apartments For Rent in Charlotte, North Carolina combines affordable living and convenience into one. Checks, Money Gram, Credit Cards Accepted.
Idk why the other two reviews about this place aren’t «recommended» because those are more of the truth!!! As opposed to J. E who is SUPPOSEDLY not management. I don’t see anything in that post that’s current,. No wonder that was 2011! Management rude and very unpleasant, you can feel the vibe while in the office! They don’t want to fix ANYTHING! And recommended I go buy blinds, when they were already supposed to be in my apartment. Other than the staff, it’s…okay. My neighbors in my building keep to themselves and aren’t obnoxiously loud. That’s about all the good I can say about this place

First off, I am not management or a rental agent from the office. I understand that in the past this property had a very very bad reputation. But, I hope that will change with the recent upgrades and renovations it has and is still going through. I just signed a 12 month lease for one of the NEW3 bedroom/2 bathroom units at Hampton Creste. It really is nice. I took pics and people love it. One of the buildings I am in is the rehabilitated buildings. It used to have 4 apartments per building, but as I understand, the buildings were gutted from the inside and redone from the inside to allow 2 tenants/apartments per building. Top floor and bottom floor are 3 bedroom apartments. My apartment is really nice. 3 huge bedrooms. I have the first floor with a backdoor entrance to the yard. And there is a 3 bedroom exactly above me, on the second floor. That doesn’t have a backdoor because there are no stairs… That’s the entire building. I think they had about 32 new 3 bedroom apts available, so about 16 of the brick buildings they gutted and reconstructed. And am glad to have been one of the last people to get one. 12×2 is MUCH better than 12×4! Cuts down on the riff raff! I just hope whoever rents above me won’t be someone with 25 people living in the apartment with kids running and jumping all over the place! I plan on keeping the building, main entrance, clean and loiter free. Since there are only 2 apts there. I like to live good and clean. Now I asked the leasing agent about the type of people that live here and told her I heard some bad things. She basically sad they are trying to start over and revive the place. Hope all the bad ones stay away! Basically a new owner took over the place once they bought it from the Housing Authority and signed off on the renovations. I’m not sure how long the renovations have been going on, since I have only lived in Charlotte for 2 months. I can say that not all of the apartments were approved for renovations. You can visually see which ones, but that’s ok! I only have concerns about people walking in and stealing cars, etc. I asked about gates, but they say they are happy with the openness of the area. OK with me, as long as some jerk doesn’t try it! The grounds and landscaping are old, since this is an older complex, and basically what I perceived from the agent, is that this will also be fixed and redone to look better and more pleasing to the eyes. There is only one pool available, which I would never get in. There is a 2nd pool in the back which is VERYHUGE, but it’s empty and not being used. I was advised that it will not be in use ever again, as they may try to construct a clubhouse and workout room on top of it. GREATNEWS! Again, this complex has a lot of potential to be great, because the overall look and layout are really neat! I don’t have much to say based on maintenance yet and other stuff, but I will be back in about 3 – 6 months to give an update on my new apt.
