Foxy Nails And Spa

Linda is my girl! I come here all the time and I won’t see anyone else. Not saying that everyone else is bad, its just that why ruin a good thing? LOL, they have a lot of frequent customers, you can tell because most of them know everyone by name! I think that is great! Linda takes her time and I love that, very precise and pays close attention to detail. She talks to me during the entire service and I actually get kind of sad when it is time to go because she is so sweet and funny. I came here recently to get my eyebrows waxed, I usually only go to one lady but she had not appointment so I kinda had no choice at the moment. I went in, laid down terrified. The lady (do not know her name), waxed my brows in less than 5 minutes and I honestly felt like she was just throwing wax up there and ripping it off BUT when she handed me the mirror… I was amazed. My eyebrows were snatched and haven’t looked that way in a long time! Forever my nail place and now eyebrows too!

I’m a frequent customer. Frequent. Usually I’d recommend this place to everyone but after today’s experience I wouldn’t. I waited over thirty minutes and the people who came after me were served before me. I planned to get a mani and pedi but after the length of wait and confusion of understanding I wanted a gel mani I just told them to forget the mani. I don’t know what’s going on with this place but it’s not as awesome as it was before.

I have been to Foxy Nails and Spa twice and both experiences were horrible. The first time I went there I had to wait for 45 minutes before I was seen. A week later, my nails were lifting up. The second time I went there, the wife of the owner made me bleed around my nail and act like it was not a problem. I had to ask her to put antiseptic on my nail and she continued to rush to do my nails. Then there were some payment issues. I think I paid more than what I asked for. I wanted a simple service and it turned to be more than what I expected. All I wanted was a fill-​in with gel polish and I paid more than the amount of a full-​set. I was never asked details, she just did it and had to redo polish because I told her I wanted color, but she decided to put clear polish on my nails. I was not at ease with what happened, so I called the owner of the shop to file a complaint and the end result was that he needed to get off the phone because a customer is trying to pay with a credit card and I was holding up the phone line. Foxy Nails and Spa provided very poor service and I will not be returning. I spoke to a nurse friend and she told me to watch out for my finger and hopefully I do not get Hepatitis because of the poor quality of care.
Others may had better experiences because they dwelt with a few of their great employees, but I dwelt with both owners. And you expect the owners to be on point… NOT! I am new to the shop, so I did not know who to go to, but I was told it was a great shop.
