ENV Pet Spa & Grooming

Maverick is my first puppy. He is treated with a firm hand. OK fine, he’s spoiled and I’ve been told by several relatives that they hope to be re-​born as my dog in one of their next lives. As such, I only want the best for my pup, and Alanna at ENV has answered the call. Her manner is just what my dog needs. She takes her time with him. Plays and talks to him before putting him through any procedures, and generally just makes sure he (and I) are calm and comfortable. Mav is a newbie with grooming so he’s weary of people pulling hair out of his ears and placing sharp objects near the bits of his body we haven’t snipped off… Alanna knows how to handle his stress and stays composed when he starts to get agitated. You can tell she’s got a lot of experience with grooming. At the end of session, my puppy always looks super handsome, smells amazing, and is in an upbeat mood. He even gets a little report card to let me know what he put her through. The actual salon is not fancy like other pet spas in CLT, but it is clean which is what matters. Since it’s just Alanna and her hubby, you do need to book in advance and I’ve found contacting her through facebook to make appointments to be very convenient. Who calls anyone anymore anyway?
Before we leave, Mav will give Alanna lots of puppy kisses… which translates to a 5-​star review in my language.
