Dilworth Mattress is a locally owed family business established in 1931. We manufacture our own mattresses and sell them direct to the public. We specialize in latex and all natural mattresses along with our two sided innerspring mattresses designed to allow you to flip them. We can construct any size, shape or firmness. You will find that our mattresses are of a higher quality than the name brands and at a much lower price.

Dilworth Mattress was founded in 1931. It is a third generation family owned business. We have been located in what is now call South End for over eighty years and we are Charlotte’s oldest mattress company.

Alan H.
Business Owner
Alan is the grandson of the Thomas Philbeck who started Dilworth Mattressin1931. Alan became active in the business after the death of his father in 1972. He brings a vast knowledge of the mattress industry having been an owner and a consultant.
