In 1991, our founders Vicky Mitchener and Al Dickens set out to create a real estate agency unlike any other in the Charlotte region. Already highly successful agents in their own right, they wanted to create an agency that would simplify the entire transaction process, while simultaneously providing clients with the ultimate real estate buying or selling experience. After assembling a team of the area’s most knowledgeable professionals, our leaders then integrated the use of the latest technologies and most advanced marketing concepts to create a business platform based on shared information and team communication. They installed computers for data management, a revolutionary upgrade in 1991, and they also implemented a shared marketing program that each agent could access for self-​promotion. In 1991, Vicky Mitchener founded a real estate agency that offered talented, well supported agents with advanced marketing and technology tools to help clients buy and sell homes. This approach, and the agency’s commitment to the Charlotte community, has established Dickens-​Mitchener as Charlotte’s premier real estate agency for the past 20 years. NC native Vicky Mitchener is the high-​energy, driving force behind the Dickens Mitchener team of real estate professionals. In 1991, our founder Vicky Mitchener set out to create a real estate agency unlike any other in the Charlotte region. Already a highly successful agent in her own right, she wanted to create an agency that would simplify the entire transaction process, while simultaneously providing clients with the ultimate real estate buying or selling experience. After assembling a team of the area’s most knowledgeable professionals, she then integrated the use of the latest technologies and most advanced marketing concepts to create a business platform based on shared information and team communication.
