Fantastic experience with them. I had two big storage units from 2012 to 2015. I just moved out and had many things to move around, dispose off, give away, etc. It was quite daunting. Kitty (the manager) helped me above and beyond to make the move swift and easy.
As for the facility, is extremely clean, safe, easy access, just the best experience of all the many facilities I’ve used. 5 stars all around!

They are the best! This is the second time my husband and I have used Devon. The ladies are so friendly and made sure I was all set up from afar so that when we arrived with our u-​haul on a Sunday (when their office is closed), we would still be able to get into our unit.

We recently moved to Charlotte and needed a place to store our belongings. Our U Haul representative worked with us and introduced us to Devon Storage. They were very friendly and efficient in getting us into a climate controlled storage unit. We appreciate the clean, password protected unit, knowing our belongings are well protected.

I recently stored my sister’s bed and a few boxes at Devon’s Self Storage. I needed something quick and only for a few weeks. The staff made me feel good about what I was getting and actually cut me a better deal cause I was only there for a short time. I felt secure about the area and I liked to two points on entry.
The only reason I give them 4 outta 5 is
— I do feel like the initial fees were a bit steep, but that’s just me.
— while I was there, someone had destroyed the first gate. now I know it’s not Devon’s fault, but I do feel like the repair could’ve been done quick. That’s all

We stored all of our furniture at Devon’s storage for 4 months. While moving our furniture out of storage, it all was covered in MOLD. Our antique furniture is ruined. Our night night stands once nice hardwood are black with mold. The feet of the furniture were clearly standing in water. When we talked to Devons storage about it, they basically said «too bad». We would have been better off leaving our furniture outside for the last 4 months, they won’t refund us a cent. Go somewhere else unless you want your furniture ruined.

Whatever you do, DO NOT use this storage facility! The staff is a nightmare to work with and in the 2.5 years that we have used them, they have not once got our invoice correct. We have had to go in person on numerous occasions to sort the issues out, which as you can imagine, is not ideal when in this day and age, we should be able to pay via phone/​email/​mail. The staff are rude and completely unhelpful.
