ComForcare is an award winning In-​Home Care agency servicing children and seniors. Our licensed and insured caregivers help with various activities of daily living including medication reminders, meal preparation, transportation, dressing/​hygiene, showering, standby ambulation, pet sitting/​walking, and companionship. ComForcare is a licensed in-​home care agency (DHHS) and accepts Private Pay, Long-​Term Care Insurance, Medicaid/​Cap, and VA as payment sources. ComForcare has a BBB rating of A+. We have won the first ever BBB Silver Torch Award given to one company per year in the Charlotte Region for outstanding senior care. ComForcare is also the first ever recipient of the Senior Shield Certification in the Charlotte region by Lt. Governor Andre Bauer of SC.

History

Established in 2005.

My wife and I opened ComForcare back in 2005. We started the business because we ourselves had the need for in-​home care within our own family. We saw how much positive good it did not just for the person needing the care, but for the existing family caregiver, and all those family members that worked about both the family and the existing caregiver. Since starting the company, we have won numerous awards within both the Charlotte Metro Region and Upstate SC. We have grown to over 350 caregivers and cover now 9 countiesin NC and another 3 counties in SC.

My wife and I have 3 beautiful and healthy sons and a black labrador (Cody) who keeps us all in check. I have an MBA from WFU and am a Certified Senior Advisor. I am existing or current members of the Alzheimer’s Associaton, Parkinson’s Association, The Shepherd Center, The Family Center, The Health & Wellness Commission (SC), etc. I am a regular speaker for various civic/​church groups and am a regular visitor on TV Shows such as «Learn TV», «Caregiver 101», and «Ageing with Attitude».
