Established in 2005.

In 2005, Closets by Design of Charlotte was created by Eric VanSickle. Previously working in the banking industry, he wanted to venture out and create a company of his own. With the help of friends and family, he chose the Closets by Design franchise and has been working successfully in Charlotte ever since.

Graduating from Boston University in 1984, Eric has maintained high managing positions in companied such as AT&T, First Union, and Wachovia. However in 2005, Eric VanSickle decided to open a business of his own called Closets by Design, a custom closet and storage company. Ever since he has been working in the Charlotte area with his wife, Laura, by his side to help organize the city of Charlotte!
