Charlotte Mecklenburg Library – Sugar Creek

I needed some quiet and some wifi for a bit, so we searched and landed in the library.
Smaller selection of books but a larger computer area, compared to other Charlotte libraries that I’ve visited. Small parking lot but it’s also a stop on the bus line. Wifi was easy to access (no password or library card needed) and speedy.

I was forced to visit this library since my university location is closed on Tue. Luckly I was passing by this location when I received a call to submit some paperwork ASAP. So, I entered their parking lot and I couldn’t find any parking. I had to park in bank next door. I walk in and the building is pretty neat/​clean, I was glad to see it because I was worried the budget cut didn’t affected their quality LOL
I ask for computer lab at the front desk and she pointed me to right direction. I came to the computer lab area and it was packed. I had to wait twenty minutes to get a computer. I never had to wait for a computer at university location. I guess there is always first time. So I was able to get the fifteen min computer since I only needed to print. I filled out the paper work and I was looking for scanner to scan it (once I sign it) but they don’t have any scanner at this facility.
I felt so lucky to have an iPhone 4, I used one of the scanner app and I was able to send it within 30 minutes.
Overall, its a pretty good facility and I am glad they are open when university location is closed.
