Office staff are completely incompetent. I love Dr. Clemens, but the staff have no clue of what’s going on. Waited 5 weeks for authorization from insurance for a medication, only to find out after I called that I needed blood work done. Something they knew needed done from day one. Then after told by multiple people, including the doctor, that I’d get a call the next day to get my infusion appointment set up. No call. Called, waited a day for a call back. And the lady (one of the people who told me I’d get a call) says that no one would have told me that. This is also when I learned I should have known after a week if I was approved by the insurance.
Bottom line, if you have a debilitating disease don’t go here because the staff places no priority on the patient’s care. Too bad they can’t be inflicted with these diseases and treated the same way.
Also, come an hour late for your appointment. You’ll still be waiting in the waiting room.

Called their number several times. Left voice mails. No return calls. Had a routine procedure there last year. Received few invoices soon after and paid them right away. A year later I get this «Final Notice» letter threatening to send me to collection if I didn’t pay my bill. Duh what bill? I had not gotten any invoices from them for almost a year and they now address me like some deadbeat? At the end of their insulting letter the last sentence said.” We appreciate your business!” Yeah right — you only care about my money! They were real nice to me when i was there last year and the doctor was decent. Not a well run business in my opinion.

I was told I would be prescribed medication, I had to call back to office about as I received nothing on the way out or information about the place to receive procedure, just wait on a call. Never received follow up call or appt. I had to call to receive info.

Terrible. I had an appointment for 2 months at the Matthews location. Arrived 20 minutes early and sat for an additional 30 minutes past my appt time. A total of 50 minutes after arrival, I asked if I was anywhere near being called. No. I left and will not go back. Most people who go to their doctor are either (1) using Paid Time Off from work, or (2) missing work and not being paid. How has it become so acceptable for doctors to just waste patients’ time? This would not be acceptable in other industries. Not only was the wait terrible, the desk staff were rude. I wasted 2 hours of my work day.
