Brisbane Academy is an independent, double accredited (SACS-​CASI. & PSAA); state licensed, non-​profit preparatory school for students in grades Pre-​K through 12. Our services include after school care, test preparation, tutoring, summer enrichment programs, summer school classes, and an on-​line program.

Brisbane Academy’s mission is to «offer the creative, hands-​on, intuitive learner a quality academic and social environment to develop a love for self and the overall learning process.» The school has an average student to teacher ratio of 10:1. It is our top priority that each child experiences success and enjoyment from learning. The high school has an Accelerated Scholars Program whereby qualifying students can complete their junior and senior years within one school year.

History

Established in 1992.

In July of 1992, responding to requests from students who loved learning but thrived in a small, individualized setting, Brisbane Academy Preparatory School was established at 5901 Statesville Road in Charlotte, NC. These intelligent yet sensitive Indigo learners but must be taught using their style of learning to receive optimal retention and understanding. Computers, music, writing and the «Arts» are their passion.
