History
Established in 2008.
Bob Roberts opened the first Bobbee O’s BBQ restaurant in Charlotte, NC, in the summer of 2008 decades after he and his wife Linda had perfected countless, delicious, home-made recipes. It was always Bob’s dream to open a restaurant. Even when he was a little boy, it was a privilege for him to be able to help his mother prepare dinner, and learn some of her recipes.
The first location was a small, diner style spot in a strip mall with no dine in space and no parking, but it still made in to Parade Magazine in 2013 for being one of the top 10 new school style Barbecue (BBQ) restaurants in the country (USA). The support led to the move in December 2015 to a bigger location with plenty of parking and dine in space for anyone to enjoy delicious, home-made food with their families and friends with Blues music playing in the background, and the same friendly, quick service that made people fall for Bobbee O’s BBQ originally. Good Food, Good Friend, Good Fun! It’s All In Da’ Sauce!
