History
Established in 2006.
The concept for blynk emerged from an assignment during Purkarthofer’s International Executive MBA studies in Madrid, Spain in 2005. Purkarthofer, a former senior project manager for Siemens, and classmates, Mauricio Carrandi of Mexico and Jan Oehmicke of Germany, recognized the need for convenient, healthy food for business people. Together they co-founded blynk and hope it becomes recognized as a synonym for healthy living.

Business Owner
Karl Purkarthofer is the co-founder and CEO of blynk organic. He is originally from Austria and holds a master degree in engineering and economics as well as a executive MBA from IE. Before starting blynk he worked worldwide in different management positions. In 2006 he left his corporate carrier in Austria and moved with his family to the US to realize the vision of blynk
