History

Established in 1982.

Formed in 1982, we worked with the Property Management and Legal trades to deliver speacialized cleaning services for carpets, upholstery etc. We were delivering Eco-​friendly carpet cleaning services as early as 1988 and we continuiously improve our services as technlogy, cleaning chemistry and healthier solutions are developed for our industry. In 1992, we expanded into a larger role in the water damage and restoration business. Our firm became certified to remediate mold issues in 2006 and we have offered mold remediation services since. We currently are an ACAC accredited firm with a AMRS certification. In 2007 we expanded into large scale rental of disater drying equipment including dehu’s, air movers and wall/​cavity drying systems.

Business Owner

I started work in the carpet cleaning field working with General Maintenance Services Co in 1980. I had the pleasure of working with their team of professionals through 1982 at which point i started Carpet Care Plus. I have owned and operated this business with pleasure and honor, serving many of the DC areas greatest people. Over the years I have strived to stay abreast of developing technologies and the best methods, honing my cleaning skills. I hold current certifications from the IICRC in Water damage (WRT), fire and smoke cleanup (FST), Odor control (OCT), upholstery cleaning (UCT), mold remediation (AMRT). ACAC Accredited w/​current AMRS certificate. Too many mold, air quality and cleaning training classes to mention.
