To My Neighborhood:

Hi, my name is David Dean and I am the Operating Partner of the Coosaw Creek Crab Shack. You know: the big crab-​orange building on Dorchester Road. In addition to joining the Crab Shack family two years ago, I have had the pleasure of becoming part of a larger neighborhood of families. The many loyal guests that I see all the time confirm my belief that I am part of something larger than just running a business.

Good things do come to those who wait. I worked in restaurant management for 30 years. One day opportunity knocked in the form of a phone call from Dan Doyle, the senior partner of the Crab Shacks. The name was all too familiar. Dan and I had worked in the same restaurant as servers many, many years ago (before computers)! Becoming a partner in an established restaurant was a life-​long dream, and I appreciate the faith that Dan and Ryan have in my skills to run a successful operation. With family support from my wife Donna, and my two teenage children,
