I popped in here yesterday on my way to a walking tour. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and my order was up quickly. The bathroom was out of toilet paper but as soon as I let the guy at the counter know, he ran back there to refill it.

This may be the worst and slowest location in charleston. It took 15 mins to get an iced coffee and there were two people in line with me. Woof

It’s not the best starbucks I’ve been to, and because of the location it is often extremely crowded. The staff is friendly but because it is busy they often seem frazzled.

Pretty loud and busy but consistent and quick service.

I love their Peppermint Mocha Latte in the fall!

Great coffee, and the staff are always friendly. I usually get a cup of coffee before class or while studying in the library.

I want to give it bad reviews so no one will go here, but I can’t. I love the layout, and the friendly staff. I will frequent this SB a lot in my near future!

Self-serve cold water, great service(I needed a bag for some brochures I was carrying and they happily gave me a bag), and they have good WiFi. This location is great too because it is right in the middle of downtown Charleston and it is good reprieve from the heat.

Location, perfect. Friendly staff very nice. Starbucks has it down to a science. This location makes it even better. Across from Marian Square, so you can walk over and sit in the park.

This Starbuck’s is real cute, a house turned into a coffee shop.

Decent Starbucks across from the College of Charleston. As others have stated, the staff is friendly and efficient and the store has limited seating. The coffee and baked goods were typical Starbucks fare. No complaints here.

As other reviews have already noted, this Starbucks has little space and is busy, it is at an intersection of two busy streets so there are always customers. Baristas were quite efficient and friendly, drink was made precisely what was ordered. And the bathroom is in the hotel lobby adjunct to the coffee shop. Convenient for all the shopping on King and easy to find for a first date for instance, besides it is a very public place.

Grabbed some coffee here. The staff was quick and efficient. Not many places to sit and hang out in this location. They have a couple of outdoor tables for when the weather is nice. Set a little ways from the busy intersection of Calhoun and King St so it’s pretty convenient if you are hitting a bunch of locations there.

Typical small Starbucks. For other options, try Port City Java(2 blocks down @ Calhoun & King) or locally owned Kudu(3 blocks up and over @ King & Vanderhorst) both have good coffee and free Wi-Fi.
