So disappointing! I wanted Mediterranean food and I went there and was so utterly disappointed. I found the food disgusting and the buffet not very classy (plates, glasses, etc).

Well I can’t say enough. The food was excellent. With so much flavor that your taste buds were happy to be. The atmosphere and the staff was very welcoming and made you feel at home. Highly recommend you stop by and try it out and let me know your thoughts. I now live in PA and I don’t have access to this awesome food anymore.

I highly advise against ordering from sahara. They are very unreliable and unprofessional. We have ordered food for our charity event two weeks in advance and agreed on the price. They have cancelled at the last minute and refused to talk to us. I serious stay away from them.

This is one of the best restaurants in Charleston, hands down. I actually have anxiety that they will close one day. The lunch buffet is fresh and homemade. I love the babaganoush. Lamb on their buffet. Many vegetarian options. Fresh salads. Lots of choices. The owners are so friendly. I can’t say enough good things!

This may be one of my favorite places for lunch in Charleston. It’s delicious, it’s cheap and you can get in and out of there about as fast as you can eat since it’s a buffet. There’s nothing necessarily too authentic and they don’t change much or make additions to the line-​up but it’s still a solid lunch spot. The only huge drawbacks for me is that it’s humid in the dining area (but, yea, it’s a buffet) and sometimes they don’t refill items as quickly as people eat them. But the waitstaff is lovely and the food is consistently tasty.

I can’t stress this enough: this is the best lunch buffet in town. $ 9 gets you all the flavors of the syrian-​lebanese food experience, and it just has VALUE. Food is tasty, service is ok (you serve yourself…) and again, the FOOD.
Ugh. If I could afford to eat here everyday, I would. I’d be a big fat happy idiot.

If you have never had Middle Eastern Food before, you need to go to Sahara for lunch. Their buffet offers a variety of flavors and dishes to choose from-​from curry dishes to hummus and pita. You can learn the elementary ropes to Middle Eastern Cuisine and it’s safe. For this reason it is very, very good. I still need to check out their Friday night buffet.
