History

Established in 2003.

Pies and Pints serves delicious, gourmet pizza and craft beer in two locations: Fayetteville, West Virginia and Charleston, West Virginia.

The idea, however, started in Utah. When Kim Shingledecker and David Bailey found themselves working and skiing during an epic winter in the Wasatch Mountains, it was a love of good food and drink that formed the plan for the first Pies And Pints.

The first version of Pies opened downstairs of what was at the time Fayetteville’s only bike shop. There was a natural draw there for the ever-​growing outdoor community in Fayetteville, and word began to spread among white water rafters, kayakers, rock climbers, and mountain bikers that there was a tiny place serving up killer pizza and hard-​to-​find microbrew that was perfect for a post-​adventure meal.

Pies soon outgrew its humble beginnings. A building just up the hill in downtown Fayetteville begged for renovation, and the new Pies And Pints Fayetteville was born. With an attention to detail and
