Got the O’charley New Orleans chicken pasta, and is the best pasta you can find here in Charleston, service was super quick and friendly. Will be back

Always consistent food and friendly service. Had the chicken finger dinner with an excellent, fresh side salad and very good green beans. Traveling so we skipped breakfast and were starving. $ 10 for 6 pieces of good chicken and two sides is a hard value to beat. Try the Cajun horseradish dipping sauce as an alternative to honey mustard… yum!

Ohhh Charley … I want to give you a 4 star review because your pies look so good … I’m not giving this a bad review, I’m just not giving it a great review … the food was about average for two kids and two adults eating out on a Sunday night … grilled cheese for my daughter was definitely cooked too long and left to cool too long because the bread was crusty and the cheese was no longer cheesy … she didn’t enjoy it and so she at ¼ of my wife’s cheeseburger … the sweet potato fries and cheesy potato soup were spot on, and my son had the ribs which ended up on his face, so you know they were good … I had the fried chicken sandwich, which had moist flavorful chicken, but just too much vegetation between the bread slices … overall, it was just an average experience with a good waitress who we saw a lot of in the beginning but then lost for a while towards the end …

My 1st experience was ok… I believe they were very understaffed. Waitress very nice but appeared overworked and she was new too. Food was good but not stellar. Presentation was a novice cook preparing plate. Took home peach pie update review from that. Good 3 star spot for a meal. May try again?

Not a pleasant experience at all. The bartender was just an «order taker». No suggestions or anything, which is very important to me when I go out. Received my entrée and it was not the way I requested it. My chips were extremely greasy and over cooked. The rolls that they are known for were over-proofed. So, save your money and go elsewhere.

Free Pie! That was the greatest part of the lunch. They trip went like this. We sat down and our server who’s name is a mystery because she never told us her name. We tried order a BLT to split like every other O’Charlie’s that we have been to, But since it’s not on the menu that could not do it. So my wife ordered the half BLT and a baked potato and I ordered the soup an salad. While sitting and waiting for our food I noticed the salt shaker as some water in it like they took a wet rag and wiped it out. I told the server she took the salt shaker and never returned with a new one. So in all we had not salt for our food. I will say they did fix her BLT for us even tho it was our fault. I can can really say is free price!

Love this neighborhood restaurant+bar. We always sit at the bar, enjoy chit chatting with the bartender and looking out the«O’Porch». Recently this location had a make over, the interior, drink/food menu and and exterior. It has a pleasant feel, real rich and warm. They have free pie Wednesday, and Sunday brunch! It’s a big step away from«just another chain» restaurant!

I’ve been here several times and as far as a No Charlies goes its pretty good the staff is always fairly friendly although they could always be a little bit faster and the food is always decent enough although of course it is just frozen food service type food and it’s a chain restaurant but its pretty decent and not a bad value

This is one of those chain spots that may be like all the rest, but it grows on you. The food is good, drinks are very large, people are very friendly. Every once in a while you feel like it’s time to go back again. I have gone back here many times, especially now that I receive their 20% off cards in the mail. Great touch. It’s not one of those places where everyone knows your name, but it feels like it. Frank G

My wife and I are vegetarian, and we sometimes have difficulty finding anything vegetarian on menus when we dine while traveling. So, when our group decided to stop here, we were delighted to find a Black Bean Patty on the menu. We tried it, and we were happy. We weren’t too really excited about my bun choices when ordering, but the waiter said they would put it on toast or us, and we liked that. When the burger came, I had to keep checking it to be sure it was a Black Bean Burger because it had texture like I’ve never seen in such a burger. Most Black Bean Burgers are mushy, or otherwise fall apart in your mouth. The flavor is usually OK, but it is not a very satisfying dining experience when a burger turns out to have more of the consistency thick, mashed potatoes than a burger. Texture and substance are the two things most people miss when putting together a Veggie Burger of any kind. This one was different, and it was really, really good. Not only did it have exceptional flavor, it actually had to be chewed instead of just sucked down. The mustard came on the side, but be sure to add the ketchup and mustard. I love the classic, yellow mustard they serve, and it augments both the burger, and the fries perfectly. After enjoying this burger, I was wishing there was an O’Charley’s closer to home. In that regard, they accommodated my tastes perfectly, and I thank them. I also liked the sweet tea, but I was not particularly fond of their World Famous Rolls. Yes, the rolls were just as good as advertised, but they were too sweet for my tastes. They are, however, very good, very different, and very special rolls — just not to my taste. All in all, I would say this was an excellent lunch that I would recommend to anyone unfamiliar with the area, and looking for a nice place to dine. I would also recommend it to locals who have never visited. Others probably already know about the place.

We ate here around 7PM last Thursday. It was busy but not packed. Server was attentive and friendly. That’s where it ended. One bourbon cocktail was watered down with way-too-much ice. On both entrée’s, baked potato was under-cooked and lukewarm on arrival. Broccoli was almost raw and lukewarm as well. Steak and ribs were both dry and also just warm. Had to replace first wine glass due to residual lipstick from previous user. Manager was walking the tables and inquiring about the food, but did not stop at ours. All in all a pretty blah experience. Definitely would not go again with this kitchen. Ironic that we were advised that the food was good but that service could be a bit slow. Seems the pendulum has swung to the other side.

Not really a fan of this place. I used to love the potato soup. Now it just tastes like a salt cube. It’s a typical chain restaurant they use frozen vegetables, probably even frozen meat. Nothing is fresh, service is ok. Their policy is to get customers in and quickly get them out. When I go to eat I like to enjoy myself I always feel rushed here.

Not a fan of O’Charley’s. Only ate here once, had the chicken tenders… It was pretty bad.

This takes the cake or should I say salad. I ordered a half California Chicken Salad. When it arrived it was a large salad. The waitress said, «It’s only a dollar more». Besides being appalled by her comment, her math isn’t that good either! It’s not the money, it’s the comment. Management, your thoughts???

We decided to try O’Charleys because it was close to home. We sat down and I noticed a sour smell at first. Our waiter came over and got our beverage order. He returned with only half of the beverages correct. He left to bring back the right beverages and was gone for several minutes. He returned to take our order and still no beverages. When I asked where my beverage was he said«oh I forgot» and left the table again. We decided that the experience was probably not going to get much better and left without ordering. My fiancé and I are both in the hospitality industry and are very tolerant but it wasn’t terribly busy and if our server cannot remember to bring our drinks then it probably wasn’t going to get much better.

Similar to Apple bees or Friday’s in style and selection. This was our first visit to the restaurant, we stopped by on our way from Charleston airport to Savannah. They had a number of value meal choices for $ 9.99. We had the 6-oz steak, the Talapia, Chicken w garlic pasta and the honey chicken. The Talapia and Steak were pretty good, the other two, not so much. My father-in-law really disliked the honey-chicken — fried chicken drizzled with honey. Which is unusual, because he pretty much eats anything without complaining. We split the peach pie and pecan pie for desert, They were excellent, especially the pecan pie. I’m generally not a fan of pecan pie, but this one was great I would go just for the pie, but don’t expect a great meal. Our server was very good.

Definitely happy with my take-out order. The food is still fresh and hot after we leave it in the car and run around for shopping. The burger is super big compare to the biggest size burger from Mc Donalds. And how about price? 2 people for less than $ 20 with more than food for only dinner. Thumb up for this place.

Wonderful rolls, loved the prime rib pasta and the broccoli casserole, and the service was excellent. My parents had the prime rib entrée and loved it.

This is a chain-style restaurant(a la Applebee’s). The food was not bad, but not great. The focus for this restaurant is lots of food for very little money. As a result, quality is moderate. We ate there on Friday at around 7:00 pm and the service was very good. One thing that I thought was quite odd is that they ran out of Sam Adam’s beer. This is especially strange because they only have 5 beers on tap! All in all, this place is pretty much what I had expected.

Brunch was awesome! We also recommend the southern fried chicken sandwich for lunch. Friendly staff and quick turnaround on the food.
