I don’t really have any complaints, but it was okay. The food was mediocre, and the service was as well. Not necessarily a place I would go back. There are far better bars in town with better food and service.

Been here a few times on break from work. Good food great selection of beers including local brews. Same bartender every time but he’s always pretty chill and polite. Never been here at night but can imagine it would be fun

Bad all the way around. LOUSY service(seriously she rolled her eyes when she screwed up a simple drink order). Really bad food and atmosphere. Total tourist trap. Avoid at all costs!

The atmosphere is Chicago on point. As a Chicagoan of 31 years, this is not Chicago food. I would come here again to drink but not eat.

This place is everything you want in a sports bar. Nice TVs everywhere, comfortable seating, and great food. Our actual waitress kind of sucked but there was a much better waitress who was great and covered our waitress’ butt so well we ended up with great service. The place is slanted toward Chicago sports but everything was on. We tried a bunch of different things. The wings were great. Better than most places who consider themselves«wing places». The fried Mac and cheese bites were also great. They had pretzels that had cheese in them that so good. The Irish nachos with beef were also good. The entire visit was pretty much ideal. Great food, great service, and all the games I wanted to see in close proximity.

Great pub and actually great food too. Got the fried mac n cheese bites– delicious. Loved the Reuben and sweet potato tots also. Generous portions, had to get the rest to go. Good service. I’d come back here again.

We tried every appetizer on the menu at once, and recommend them all! Just not all at once like our group did! Thanks, Justyn, for your great service!

Just a great place. Food is awesome and the drinks are affordable. The staff is really friendly as well. Great Chicago bar downtown.

I came to this place because it was one of the few spots in Charleston that was open late at night. I thought I would give it a try since me and my girlfriend were hungry and there weren’t too many places open at the time. The place was like a typical sports bar. What was surprising to me was the quality of the food. It was way better than I expected. The atmosphere was great and the staff was nice. It’s a great place to hang out and have drinks with friends. Good place to visit while walking around Charleston late at night.

We did not have any food, but it took 3 requests to get lemon for our water. It was really hot inside, and the place could be cleaner. Good beer menu.

More of a bar than place to eat. Took a while for someone to even come to our table. Ordered a BLT and wrap — both with house chips. Then waited 40 minutes for food and the order was wrong when it finally came out. Service was bad. Disappointed, based on previous reviews.

Skip the beer cheese bites, a small handful of uneventful fried cheese for 6.99… Not impressed. The mushrooms and Mac and cheese bites were both a better choice in my opinion. They also have Not Your Father’s Root Beer on tap. Service, eh, not awful not good, there’s better in town. It pains me to say it as a Chicago girl, but there are better places in Charleston for sure.

Great place. Maybe a locals hangout? The bartender was super sweet and attentive. Fun games to play. I would definitely go back. Also the prices were very good.

This was great… Recommended by the bartender at Pavilion Rooftop bar. We said we wanted great beer selection and friendly, casual atmosphere. We got it! And a great appetizer along with it. $ 3 draft beer(we had a local Coast IPA) and cheap appetizer(southwest chicken egg rolls — delicious.) Our bartender, Angela, was friendly, informative and fun. Love this place!

Forget this place unless your from a Chicago. They are in the Caroline’s and do not even care about the Carolina Panthers who are 8 wins and 0 losses. Plus they hate the Chicago a White a Sox because of the designator hitter rule in a American League. How stupid. What is so exciting about watching the pitcher strike out. There are so many more friendly places to go to downtown Charleston. Waste your money if you go to Mac’s Place unless you love the Cubs or Bears.

Came here during Sunday football. Bar seats were reserved for a game in over an hour and we were not allowed to sit there. When we left one of the two we wanted to sit at was still empty. They are lucky we didn’t leave. Giving 4 stars for the amazing corn beef in the Ruben and our server was great!

We are from Chicago and came here to watch a Cubs playoff game. The atmosphere was pretty great and the decorations are nice. Loved the Addison St. and Clark St. signs around the TV. If only the Cubs could’ve pulled it out…
