Gert’s Snowballs

2 stars because we loved the décor of the portable stand and the prices were fair.
We got there around 2:10. The owner says she opens at 2pm, but was not ready, so we had to wait for a few (no biggie).
I wasn’t a fan of the watermelon. It tasted like pure sugar water, with very little watermelon. My husband said the same about his root beer. We were expecting a little higher quality… we could’ve made these at home with the cheap supplies you can buy at Target.
The owner said she will be closing up next week and relocating next season due to poor business. She is new to Charleston, and seems new to the snoball biz. She has some things to work out before I will consider returning (i.e., opening on time, better flavoring).
