History

Established in 2007.

Check out our Story in ‘About us’ on our web site

www.dixiecafcharleston.com.

We use all local produce, fresh from the farm, every day and local seafood right off the boat on Wadmalaw Island. We invite you to tast the freshness of everything done from scratch, right down to our salad dressings.

We use our Charleston family recipies, collected from generations of good cooks.

We owned a Bakery in the Charleston City Market for 9 years, prior to opening the Dixie Café. We wanted to expand & share all the wonderful food that we were exposed to, growing up in Charleston. We hope you will come on in, sit and chat with us, while you enjoy the best of the South, friendliness & great food!
