cone 10 studios offers a full experience for the gallery visitor. All are welcome to browse the space as potters and sculptors create work. Our entire 3600sq ft studio is open to the public. Tours of our process and the kiln yard are happily given upon request.

Unless a special exhibition, all work showcased in cone 10 studios’ gallery is made on-​site. We have ceramic work in porcelain and stoneware that ranges from functional folk pottery to contemporary abstract sculpture. Included are budding professionals as well as those nationally and internationally-​collected. A piece from cone 10 studios is a piece of life in Charleston

History

Established in 2000.

Originally founded by Susan Filley as ClayWorks in 2000, cone 10 studios current owners are Fiorenzo Berardozzi, Betsey Carter, Anne John and Susan Gregory. This is the third and largest space for us. cone 10 studios moved to the upper peninsula area of Charleston in June of 2010. The concept has always been to house a group of ceramicists sharing in the firing, finances and joy of a large gas-​reduction kiln.
