BEWARE-​Coastal Shudder Co. I purchased and had installed a nice Bahama style shudder by Coastal Shudder Co. Last week I was up on ladder cleaning the window behind shutter and discovered that the installation of this Bahama shutter was way below standard. Multiple unused drill holes, no weather caulking, non-​secured support arms. It’s as if the installer had never done this before. I contacted customer service, they set an appointment for someone to inspect. They were a no-​show, with no contact from service to reschedule, in fact no return contact at all. I have left another message asking that they contact me, no answer. Buyer beware — good product, substandard installation, no customer service. Address provided is a mail box at a pack-​and-​go mail place in strip mall. Will not use them for anything in the future. I will update if they rectify this situation properly!
