I brought my dog to stay for one night here and had no issues. Check in/​out was swift and my fur-​babe looked happy on the webcam. I had pretty much the same experience that I have had at other CampBowWow locations that I have visited. I will certainly have my dog (s) stay here again when I am in the area.

Efficient booking-​drop off-​pickup, price competitive, friendly staff, clean facilities. Although on Clements Ferry, staff has always accommodated any lateness due to terrible traffic.

Staff were very friendly and the dog came out happy after a day playing with her new buddies. She’s pretty good about letting me know when something bad has happened, so when she met me afterwards it was easy to see she had a good time and got plenty of exercise.

I love Camp Bow Wow! The staff is so caring and seems to really love spending time with all the dogs. I always know my puppy will be cared for at Camp Bow Wow. The staff really seems to go out of their way to make both you and your puppy comfy with boarding and doggy day care. Love the video cameras too!

Not understanding the negative reviews. This place is great. My dogs love it. We have been taking them here for about 2 years now. We spend quite a bit of time in the Charleston area. Both of our dogs are always excited to arrive. It is obvious that the staff are crazy about dogs and love what they are doing. It is an exceptional facility. Very clean and plenty of room. Love that we can check on our babies anytime while they are there by watching their cameras online.

We love Camp Bow Wow. Though we know they are all different owners, we have used three different Bow Wows and have never been disappointed. We feel safe leaving our dog with there & never feel guilty about the high-​energy, crazy animal we drop off with them.
The seem responsible, attentive and loving. And our dog goes CRAZY with excitement when we pull up — and I trust his instincts!

Didn’t earn our business because they didn’t return our phone call – gave them the benefit of the doubt by trying one more time nearly two hours after leaving the message on a Saturday AM (called just after they opened for business) and found the man very stand-​off-​ish and put out. Surprised and taken aback by his behavior after our dog loves the time at the Camp Bow Wow in our town. We were visiting Charleston for the day and wanted to take the pooch – ended up at Charleston Dog House and our dog LOVED it. So, hope others like this Camp location because I’d hate to see how this guy treats my dog when I’m not there and he’s in a REALLY bad mood. Yikes.

My initial review was that hey, Camp Bow Wow rocks! Not anymore! I think they fed my dog the wrong food for nearly a week. I could deal with CBW losing my dog’s leash. Lots of them look alike, but another time they sent me home with a loaner leash, instead of my retractable one. I live in a condo, so sending me home with a crappy nylon leash that was 4 feet long… super annoying! Also, I used to like CBW so I drove about 15 – 20 minutes out of my way to board my dog there. The leash deal was annoying, but but more recently they fed my pup the wrong food! When I picked up my dog, the gal at the front desk told me that they had some left over food, so it was in his bag with his toys. No biggie, my pup doesn’t eat as much when he’s not with me. When I got home to put things away, it wasn’t his food – kibble was a different shape and size. My bags for him had his name on them. Did they feed him this all week? Did someone else’s dog get the wrong food too because he/​she was eating my dog’s food? Not cool. I wasn’t rude to the girl, but asked the receptionist to have the owner call me. He never did. I never went back to CBW.
