Alpha Dog Omega Cat

High quality dog food and puppy treats! The staff is friendly and really helpful, too– anytime I want to switch up my pup’s food, they give great advice as to what brands may be best and so on. Also, if you don’t have a car, it can be super annoying to lug around 15 lbs of dog food on your bike– which doesn’t need to happen here! Before I got a car, they were able to deliver food to me! Now, I just come in, pick up what I need, and peace out– they have my info on file and seem to remember all their repeat customers. Overall, pretty darn convenient, I’d say.
There are a bunch of other knick knacks there (collars/​bowls/​silly sweaters/​random paraphernalia), which I am not personally all that into– they are pretty expensive, too. But, whatever floats your metaphorical boat, I guess!

If I were a cat or dog, I would definitely want my «humans» to shop at Alpha Dog Omega Cat.
The shop is small put fills its space nicely with an extensive variety of upscale pet products such as treats, food, leashes, collars, beds, dog tags, water and food bowls, etc. Basically, we’re talking anything that Fido or Fluffster (is that a generic cat name?) could ever desire, and it’s all high quality stuff.
The staff here is very friendly and the shop is in a very nice location downtown. All in all, it’s definitely worth taking a peek into if you are a dog or cat owner. Unfortunately for my furry friends this guy does not have the cash flow to make shopping here a regular occurrence, but that doesn’t mean I won’t do so on special occasions!

I am a dog owner and loved visiting this store when I was in Charleston.
I would say… don’t miss it if your dog (precious Golden Retriever) is spoiled like mine. Also if you love to be surrounded by fun pet décor for your home this is a great place.

Love this store! This is a very well organized store that has very high quality and unique items, both for your pet and animal lover. You’ll find a good selection of foods, treats, collars, toys, beds, gifts, etc. I left with a very high quality dog toy as well as a gift for someone (two legged) and there was so much more I wanted! Feel free to take your well mannered pet with you, they have treats behind the counter. Very friendly staff as well!
This has been added as a regular stop for when I’m in town.

We went in here yesterday with our dachshund. They had a great selection of collars and leads in super cute patterns. They sell custom order dog tags, hand painted bowls and treat jars and assorted pooch treats and foods. They also have a great selection of gift type items by dog breed.
The girl in the shop was friendly, and willing to help us in any way possible. The shop was super cute, and I would absolutely come in here again.

I’m reviewing this shop purely from a cat owner’s perspective. I’ll leave the dog lovers on Unilocal to post their own review. Alpha Dog… might just be the cutest pet store I’ve ever been in. Usually you have to shop in a warehouse-​sized store where the pet food comes in 50-​lb. bags and the most interesting conversations are happening over in the parrot aisle. While the selection for cats is on the small size, it’s well edited to include fun toys, treats, collars and cat bowls. Dudley (my cat) is a big fan. The owner is very enthusiastic about animals, and pets are welcome.
