I’ve used AccuPhoto to develop multiple 35 mm color film rolls over the years. Their work is done well but not always in a timely manner. When I have dropped film off in the past, they say it’ll be about a week and it usually ends up being two weeks. I dropped of a few rolls the first week of December, hoping to have the photos for a Christmas gift. When I dropped them off they told me it would be about a week until it was ready (!). One week passed, no call. Two weeks passed, still no call. I called to check on it and they simply told me to wait until I get a phone call to know when it’s ready (they’ve only once called me in my 3 years using them when my film is ready). Three weeks passed, still no call from them. I called them back, frustrated as it was now almost Christmas Eve, and asked if my film was ready (it was not) and that I wanted to just come pick it up to take it somewhere else to be developed. I forgot to go by that day, and just resigned to not having the photos for Christmas. I went back yesterday and the photos were finally ready.
One of the times I called they said their technician had been ill, and I understand that situations change and there isn’t always a great solution to them. I should’ve picked up my film sooner to take it somewhere else for it to be developed before Christmas. I was disappointed they told me one week and it turned in to four. There was no apology either for it being such a long wait. I was extremely disappointed by this experience and I’m uncertain whether or not I will use them again.

Reviewing as Accuphotolab takes all of the photos for kids sports. During my sons season of basketball at the YMCA, Accuphotolab came to take team/​individual photos. During the soccer season, you are able to be present for photos… For basketball apparently this is not the case. I was unable to fix or adjust my sons clothing or anything… If the photos turn out poorly (eyes closed, looking away, crumbled jersey) I hope they do refunds. If I’m paying for the photos I think I deserve to be present for the service.

I love this place, Chris and Jerry are great and so friendly. These two definitely have the gift of hospitality and the quality of their services is outstanding! Thanks so much Chris and Jerry for making this Georgia Boy feel at home.

They are true professionals and artists that can relate to all aspects of photography being digital, film, print or as applied to other media. I was fortunate to find them and will now use exclusively for my bulk work on 35 mm film for processing, scanning and occasional reproduction. Appearances might fool but what remains true is that the pricing was similar to other chain labs, the quality of my processing excellent and the scanning as promised 3X higher resolution than others and crisp. As a photographer I like their enthusiasm and their love for our art and technology. I wish they would process more often (only have Wed. and Sat. film processing). Give it a try and should be pleased just as we are.
