Beer: Good and strong. A bit expensive, but I expected that from a local microbrew. Food: My girlfriend and I have had good luck. The fish and chips is pretty good; fried pickles good; burgers pretty good. Slaw and kraut are quite good. Service: Please get some additional employees. Last time I was there, the poor waitress was seating the groups, taking orders, serving, answering the phone, and often disappeared into the kitchen. Yes, she wasn’t the best waitress, but she was busting her backside for everyone.

I can’t say for the beer(I don’t drink) but the food was so-so. Usually at a brewery, a burger is a safe bet. The waiter took my order but never asked me how I wanted the burger done, so then I TOLD him I wanted it medium. The burger was well-done, dry, and I had to dip it in ketchup to make it more palatable. At least it had good grill flavor. The sweet potato fries that I ordered were decent but on the dry side. This is place is hard to find in the downtown square of Chardon, mainly because their only sign is on a glass window, hard to see with reflection and somewhat hidden. The place is surprising nice, a little more upscale than a regular brewery and had no problems accommodating a large group on short notice.
