Meet the Business Owner
Mandey B.
Business Owner
Mandey moved to Chapel Hill from New Orleans in 2005 and has owned Zog’s since 2010. She brought her favorite things about New Orleans with her, and it shows in the bar. Mandey believes in supporting local artists and businesses, and really likes to be in cahoots with people. She believes in family-run stuff, which is why the tiny staff consists of her brother, her beloved roommate, and a couple of close friends. When you’re at Zog’s, you’re family! And that’s her favorite part about New Orleans, too. Mandey likes cheap whiskey, painting pictures, watching Roadhouse, Iron Maiden, and dressing up for stuff. She’s never really written a bio before. Speaking in third person makes her slightly uncomfortable.
