Jong has been a structure engineer for 11 years with experience in dog training and retail. His passion for dogs and training lead him to start his own pet retail and grooming business. He is also the owner of a 6.5 yr old Border Collie named Saber.

Had a great groom of our Belgian Terv Zoey. Christy worked hard to clean up her matts without having to clip her. She had a lot of undercoat, turns out ticks hidden from us (we do treat but…) and those matts. I would for sure use their services again for Zoey. The price did go up from $ 45 to $ 95 but I have zero complaint on the cost. They also called each time they ran into something that was going to take more time and add cost so I knew before she was done it would be more. Again, no issue I’ve paid a little less and not had such a good job done.
Next time I’ll even look at the doggie baked goods. Thank you for your professional services and the care you gave our girl

I called them very late in the afternoon, hoping that they could get my black lab in for a quick bath. The groomer was all booked up for the day, but they do allow you to use the equipment and bathe your own fur baby. I’m sure there are only certain times of the day that this is possible. I went at 6:15 pm on a Thursday, and was the only one there. I was able to use the tub, any of the shampoos and conditioners, aprons, and even doggie stairs if I needed! Rocky actually enjoyed his bath.
After he behaved so well, I knew I was going to get him a very big cookie. They have tons of treats. I didn’t get a chance to take a look around the store. There was so much there.
Overall I had a pleasant experience. The groomer that helped me was so polite, and loved meeting my baby. She helped me gets set up and was very sweet. I paid $ 15 for the bath. I will be back. Hopefully the next time I can look around the store more. My pup is spoiled rotten!

Just picked up my extremely high energy dog from Woof Gang in Chapel Hill and they did a great job. Genius certainly not easy to wash! Basic grooming package left him clean and happy and was pretty decently priced. Their homemade treats are great for his sensitive stomach and would recommend them to anyone!

My pets have never looked so good as after having been groomed here. I was particularly impressed with how they groomed my 95 pound, 12 year old English Shepherd, who is so old he can’t stand for long. And yet he came out looking like a Hollywood movie star. It was incredible. He has long hair like a collie, but it’s curly like a Golden Retriever. What they did with him was down right artistic. My other dog is 9 pound yorkie poo and she looked equally as amazing. I had only one complaint. The receptionist wanted to know how much the old dog weighed and said –oh he’s over weight. Well he isn’t. Vet said he’s great. It’s all that long hair makes him look bigger. So 1) You wouldn’t tell a human they are overweight, so don’t say that about a human’s pet. It’s rude. and 2) We should all look so good as my old guy when were are in our 90s!!!

Fabulous! This was the only time my shih tzu wasn’t anxious after his grooming! When I picked him up, he was chilling on a dog bed in the front of the store; the woman working said she felt bad keeping the dogs in a crate. She also said she had taken him outside and given him a couple treats. He gave her some kisses before we left. Besides the great service, his new haircut was better than he had gotten before too! This is our new pet groomer.

Won’t return, went in on a Sunday afternoon, the young girl was less than helpful — I was surprised she even looked up to assist us. Guess the phone was more important. Just fyi… if you are looking for NutriSource, they only carry the small/​medium size bags. I suppose this place specializes in grooming based on reviews. Sorry, won’t be supporting this local place again.

Let me first start off by saying how awesome this place is!
And now for my review: My little Malti-​szu was lacerated on her neck her first ever grooming appt. at petsmart. She had to go right into surgery and only had the top half of her trimmed. Needless to say the poor thing was traumatized and terrified. She still needed a good grooming and I was terrified to take her anywhere after what happened. Until I found this lovely store! They made her look wonderful and really paid good attention to where the stitches were, they also really made her feel better after all that had went on. They are an awesome groomer and the only groomer I will go to from now on! They only keep two or three dogs at a time and there are only two groomers. They take great care of my puppy and I want everyone to know how trusting and awesome they are! They also make in house dog treats, organic gluten free and so much more! I love this place its amazing!

Really enjoyed Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming! I was recommended by a family friend because I was tired of taking my dog to an old, ragged place down in Durham (smelled terribly and nearly half the size of Woof Gang Bakery) and I am happy to say that I am relieved and overjoyed to have been introduced here. Only small issue is if you’re looking to get your dog’s cut here, make sure to take a few days prior to reserve a spot. Mine took a few days but it was awesome! The place is super clean and is located in a nice neighborhood (Meadowmont is known for its sophistication). The lady at the front counter is very friendly and courteous! She gave me some free treats/​sample foods for my dog because of some joint problems that she has. Seth, the groomer, is not only super nice and had obvious experience handling dogs gently and kindly, he also did an awesome job of cutting my dog’s (a Shihtzu/​Poodle mix) hair and it took just under three hours to complete (the place I took my dog prior to this took four to five hours). Strange that I’m giving a place that isn’t a restaurant my first five-​star rating, but it is definitely worthy of it! The cost is reasonable as well ($ 50 for my ~10lbs Shih-​poo).
There’s a large variety of treats, foods, and toys also offered there as well. Therefore, Woof Gang doesn’t serve only as a grooming place but also a wonderful shopping center for your pet/​s.
Will be looking to bring my dog here again when it’s time for another cut!

Seth did an amazing job on my wheaten-​mix dog. I couldn’t believe how good he looked when I came to pick him up. They really did a professional job, cutting his hair just perfectly so it’s completely even. He looks better than I do after a hair cut!

Nice doggy store… When we’re in the area with the dogs we always stop-​by here. Staff is friendly and the store is very clean and has everything one would need as far as the basics go (toys, treats, food, etc)

The place is really convenient for people that live in the area and the employees are super nice. My pug, Lola, actually enjoys going here even though she always goes to get her nails trimmed (and she hates that). The nail trimming looks great and I have no problems with the in-​store service.
Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is that they never answer their phone, so if you expect to try to reach them via phone it probably won’t happen.

I took my foster dog here for grooming yesterday. He is a very nervous and fearful poodle mix, but the groomer at Woof Gang was wonderful. She said she’s been grooming for over 20 years and has worked with many rescues, which put me at ease. While we were waiting for him to be ready, I looked around the store. They have a HUGE selection of toys, leashes/​collars and accessories, in addition to all their delicious baked treats. When the fosters were ready, they looked wonderful, and even got a few biscuit samples on our way out. We’ll be back!

Great new dog boutique and shop in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with a large variety of dog products. Impressive selection of dog foods, especially for raw dog diets. Grooming available, dog toys, bedding, collars, baked dog treats, and more.
The salon is conveniently located in the Meadowmont shopping center, with a friendly staff too. We felt very welcome, and we liked that they were all professionally dressed in veterinary/​grooming scrubs. They greeted us, and definitely made us feel welcome in the store.
It is a dog store, so the main bulk of the products are for dogs, but they did have a few cat items and cat foods as well, in a special «kitty» section of the store near the back wall. Very nice layout for the entire store really. You can easily find what you are looking for, especially since they have it written out with cute signs along the walls, as to which section of the store you are in. Very cute.
This is a really nice addition to the Meadowmont shopping area, especially for those who may live in the residential condos and surrounding town homes and subdivisions. We liked the variety of dog products, and the décor was really clean and fresh. It was nice too that the grooming area was closed off in it’s own section through a French door. Very nice touch.
