Description

Specialties

Specializing in psychotherapy with adults and couples, my approach will often draw from a variety of therapies that suit your individual issues and needs. Using a combination of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, EMDR, interpersonal supportive therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavior (informed) Therapy and a client-centered approach, I believe that the goal of therapy is to provide emotional support in ways that better equip clients to continually grow by uncovering their strengths, enhancing their skills to manage emotions and stress, as well as providing new tools to improve interpersonal relationships.

History

Established in 2012.

I have been practicing as a psychotherapist since 1996 in a variety of settings, including outpatient mental health centers, a psychiatric inpatient unit, a women’s birth and wellness center, an AIDS service organization and group private practice.
