Dr. West is great and he is very meticulous and very conservative. I highly recommend him. BTW, there is a reserved parking spot in the garage under his building. I recommend him highly.

Dr. West’s office is the best dental office I’ve ever been to, and after so many different issues with prior dentists, it was a breath of fresh air. The office is always clean and tidy and is compact without being cramped. Both Dr. West and Anita (a hygienist and office manager who is the BOMB) are excellent people and excellent at dental work. They’re always prompt, I never wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment, if that. Dr. West has helped me personally take control of my teeth, and thanks to him, my teeth have never been healthier. If you need a dentist in Chapel Hill or in the triangle, you cannot go wrong with Dr. West’s office.

I have been going to Dr. West for a few years now. I tell everyone about how great it is. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. Dr. West and his dental hygienist, Anita, are excellent at what they do and are also incredibly personable. I look forward to seeing them every six months.
Another great bonus is the dental examination chairs. I’m not sure that I’ve ever been in a more comfortable chair!

Moved here from back East recently and was looking for a good dentist as my wife and I had for fourteen years there.
Its hard sometimes to come to a new area and find that comfort zone for dentists and doctors.

A wonderfully young talented dentist in a small comfortable office with his dental assistant and that down home special feeling they give you as soon as you open the door. It felt as if I stepped into someones living room for a nice chat with my mouth open!
I would highly recommend anyone in the area to make an appointment and become one of his loyal patients as we have. And great to have someone as honest that will only do things you need to have done, not to sell you things you do not need for your teeth and mouth!

Definitely recommend Dr. West. I really like that dentist actually did my cleaning /​check up and didn’t just come in to say hi at the end. Dr West explained what he was doing and was very easy to work with along with his assistant, Anita. The office was comfortable with state of the art equipment. Overall a good experience.

Very friendly and thorough. Parking is easy (and free) and for downtown Chapel Hill that’s definitely a plus. Another plus you ask? After your first visit you can schedule an appointment for their ever-​popular Saturday cleanings. Good stuff! I highly recommend Dr. West.

Great experience. Dr. West’s practice is clearly up to date with the latest technology. Beautiful space. Dr. West is personable and clearly cares about his patients. He pointed out some gum recession and a small cavity and discussed my full spectrum of options for addressing these (including realistic assessments for doing nothing at all). Didn’t feel that he was selling me extra services at all but instead that he really wanted me to make an informed decision.

I am a dental student in the DDS program at UNC-​Chapel Hill and chose to leave my dentist at home in order to be his patient here in Chapel Hill. I was impressed by his philosophies articulated on his website and his approach to dentistry as preventative care centered around families (even though I, myself, am a single grad student). This motivated me to set up an appointment that later confirmed all the positive impressions I made when visiting his practice’s website. If I could one day have a practice half as nice and professional as Dr. West’s, I would feel like an accomplished dentist.

Dr. West and his office manager/​hygienist/​rock-​star, Anita, are professional, straightforward, and genuinely good people.
They operate a small office and do not overbook appointments. They do not make you sit in the lobby for an extended period of time for your appointment. They respect you, and your time.
Dr. West did the cleaning himself. I felt like he was a part of the visit, not just the person who comes in the room at the end and pokes at your teeth/​looks at an x-​ray.
I have never had this pleasant of an experience at a dentist and, as such, cannot recommend Dr. West and his office highly enough.
