Blue Moon Stables offers saddleseat riding lessons and also driving lessons to all levels in a fun and safe environment. Students recieve a thirty minute to an hour long private lesson that includes riding and learning how to take care of the horse on the ground as well. Lessons are $ 35 each and packages of 4 lessons at $ 130 are available as well. This summer we are also offering several sessions of summer riding camps, please contact us today for more information!

Business owner, manager, and riding instructor Cara Wolf graduated from Stephens College in December 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Equestrian Studies. Stephens College prepared Cara for teaching riding lessons as well as extensive care and training of horses. In addition to her education at Stephens College, Cara has interned with many successful and well respected horse trainers in the American Saddlebred industry including Midge Hunt, Anne Neil, Robert Gardiner, Virgil Helm, and Robert Stezovosky. Cara has traveled to and lived in many states to gain the experience and knowledge she now has to settle in North Carolina to begin her own business teaching riding lessons. She is very excited to have the opportunity to share her enthusiasm for riding and showing horses with other horse lovers and give all students the opportunity to spend time doing something they love at an affordable price.
