Our dermatology practice treats most general and cosmetic dermatology issues. We specialize in anti-​aging treatments as well as advanced treatments for common dermatologic issues such as acne, rosacea, excessive sweating and spider veins. We have the most experienced physicians in North Carolina in non-​surgical cosmetic procedures like Botox®, Dysport®, Restylane®, and Juvederm®. Our physicians are in the top injectors in the nation.

Aesthetic Solutions’ laser center offers the most advanced laser treatments in the Triangle with eight different lasers and light treatments on-​site, providing the ultimate in patient treatment and care. With laser technology we are able to treat conditions like rosacea, acne and melasma, scarring, unwanted vascular veins, and periocular blue veins. We have lasers for skin resurfacing, pigmentation and texture issues and we and we offer laser hair removal for all skin types.

Business Owner

Dr. Sue Ellen Cox is a dermatologic surgeon and the founding medical director and president of Aesthetic Solutions in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. A graduate of New York University, she earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Cox completed her Residency in Dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and she is board certified in dermatology specializing in surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she teaches a cosmetic dermatology clinic to the third year residents. She is also a supervising physician of the residents in dermatology program at Duke University.
