Worst experience dealing with a company that I have ever had. Paper work completely wrong. Transmission needed overhauled, speakers did not work, etc. Could not get my tags from them, they called 5 different times for my insurance information. Very unprofessional crew working there. Please don’t make the mistake that I made… go somewhere else for your vehicle!

How can I give less than one star? This place advertises vehicles that they do not have in stock. Then lie about having to pay a fee to remove the advertisement from craigslist. Then lie about a third party doing their listings. I give these guys the Pinocchio award. They cannot tell the truth as they are so separated from the truth. Bottom line — go somewhere else.

«Congratulation (shaking my hand) on your new truck, let me get it ready and bring it around the front for you .» said the salesman (Max). «Make sure to write a good review for us on Unilocal !» That is what I remembered. After 4 hours plus looking and searching, the paper signing and finalizing with the finance dept. I also signed the «Famous Wall of Satisfied Customers !»
20.99% !!! Yikes !! Westlake Financial ?? Never heard of them… but my kind finance guy say don’t worry, he’ll look for a better rate asap for me (I trusted him)
After a few days with my new –used truck, I got a call from the salesman. He say that the SALE IS NOT FINALIZED YET ! (WTF!!!) I asked «why? what happened? Where is the finance man? What’s going on here?!? «He could not tell me or even give me a straight answer (like if he had something to loose). He did not explain but made me feel like I stole a truck from their dealership ! I said it was finalized and you put the tags on it and told me everything is done. Then they threaten if I don“t come back in, they will cancel the deal and repo the truck. WHoo. I’m like «seriously? What did you do wrong? You did something wrong didn’t you? «He got upset, started say the F words — so I just hung up.
(it got very weird and they got very sloppy)
It’s only been two days ! I asked if they’d lost the paperwork or something. They lied and lied to me, from one sales person to another, keep making up things like it was my fault. I was clueless .I’m sure they did lost some paperwork. Then I also realized what they were trying to do too. (They were trying to corner me into the West lake“s rates ! But mess it up somewhere on the paperwork and needed more info from me. Lucky I found out, because that’s how sloppy they got by lying .

I quickly went to credit union to get a loan to pay off the truck. I held off on everything, even informed the police about it .They told me to hold on to the truck, it is a scam .They suggested that I try to get the loan fast and solve it if I can. Trust Auto has already taken my trade-​in and cash money down ! The police say bc I have a registration and insurance under my name, if someone try to take the truck — it is illegal. l
In 3 days, I got approved from credit unions with 4.9% ‚(should have done this first) and got the checks to pay my truck off from Trust Auto !!
Another weird moments; Trust Auto“s Boss looks at the cashier checks from credit union bank, then he stop– looking kind of confused. HE WASN’T SURE THE CHECK WAS GOOD! His salesman /​financial guy even told him it’s good, it’s a cashier check !! .LOL !! Very crazy !
Also, when the salesman found out that I was gonna pay off the truck, he called me before I got there to ask if I could do him a favor and give him some money ($ 200-​$ 300) for all the help he did. (WTF !!) YOU TRIED TO F**K ME AND STILL ASK ME FOR $$$ ?? Trust Auto should be investigated and closed along with West Lake Financial ! This was the worse thing and wrong timing for me, cost me a lot !!
They really tried and I hate to quit on them. so let’s continue this with a lawsuit. see you in court Trust Auto..

Our experience with trust auto was horrible. First they messed up the paper work let us take the car home then they try to give you a guilt trip like you stole their car. WTF? Calling your house threatening to repo the car back. When I told them that I’m going to finance through my own bank and I will let them know by Monday since it was the weekend they still threaten you to repo the car. I notice everyone there is fake even though they act nice first impression until they talk to you over the phone giving threats. Then their true colors comes out of this place. Second, with a perfect credit score they want you to lock you with some boggles financial company called «westlake». Don’t know what’s the commission they are getting. Whatever they use as their financial bank department is a joke with boggles rate of 20.99% and with a almost perfect score credit rate 831 I know that the rate was way too high. My credit card has better rate then that. After doing some research online about this west lake. I was laughing how I was falling into a trap. They trick you to signing the contract while they they assure you that that’s not the rate that you will be signing for. Jayce financial person there say that we will search for a better rate and later that week they call you back and say that that’s the rate. Its all part of a scheme. After I told them we want to find our own bank that’s when they threaten to repo the car or bring the car back. The good thing was that we didn’t give all the paper work for the document to go through so they keep on asking for that paperwork. thank god we didn’t follow through otherwise we would have falling into their trap. Remember the following people Guss, Max and Jayce they are all fake and they lie their heart out to pull this deal to go through their commission depend on it. One person say one thing the other person says another. They will try to con you to signing the contract, please don’t fall for it.
At the end driving 45 minutes each way 4 times within 2 weeks. I wasted a lot of time over dealing with these jokers. When we brought the check from the bank to them they had a trust issue thinking that the cashier check is fake. There is a whole other story to that, which trust me I can write whole lot more but all I can say don’t deal with these unprofessional people. These people has big time issues including the owner Mike and I never seem anyone so anal as them. They should not be in business if they think that everyone will be bringing couple of thousand in cash on their hands.
Avoid this place at all cost! Not worth the headache. My guess this place will takes advantage of people who tries use their finance section and probably knows that they don’t have good credit even though I was not in this category.

This place is a joke. Trust is what they are lacking. I drove about 2 hours from MD to this location with two trucks in mind. Once I arrived we were helped by Paul, the truck we wanted to test drive had a dead battery, okay fine, he got it started. Than the truck was completely filthy, looked like someone took it off roading, you would think if you tell them what truck your coming to look at they would have it ready, but nope. Second truck was much better and we decided to go for it. Paul advised us that my boyfriend would not get approved because he had little credit history and that we had a better chance of being approved if I co sign, since I had good credit score it would help the fact he has hardly any credit. After some hesitation in my part I ended up co signing. Stupid of me to trust their word. We left the site and went back to MD waited for a phone call never received one, finally I called, apparently Paul was very busy. Whatever, 3 days later he called to state he had great news. I’m thinking oh okay he knew how many months I wanted to push the payment and what our monthly payment would be. He went over our monthly payment by $ 200 and than stated that no bank will approve us because it’s an older truck okay than why tell me it was a possibility? He stated he will continue trying. Another 2 days later after not hearing back drove down to see what is taking so long and he comes back with an even higher monthly payment. This place does not have any actual connections with banks and their so called in house financing is a joke. You have to put down like 40−60% of the truck in order to get in house financing… what?!? If I had money like that I would buy brand new. Nevertheless we worked with another dealership and got approved elsewhere. Don’t waste your time they are terrible!

After making reservations earlier on in the week (Tuesday) with Jay, and calling to confirm the reservation on Friday with Jay again, I drove 3 HOURS to look at a 2000 Ford Excursion 7.3L. You think they would have had the vehicle ready as I called to let him know I was coming, TWICE! I get there, meet my salesman who stutters because he has trouble speaking English. We walk out to the vehicle, AND IT HAS NOTHING IT WAS ADVERTISED WITH (Xenon Headlights, Rear Entertainment Package, Navigation, Air Ride Suspension). So after I do a walk around and look under the hood (The pneumatic supports were broke and did not hold the hood up, so I made the salesman hold it up), I went to start it up. Guess what?! IT DOES NOT START!!! Are you F***ING KIDDING ME?! After all this happens, he offers to show me a similar vehicle! That just adds injury to insult! So when I inquired about who writes their ads, the response I received was «We use a 3^rd party to advertise for us.» The salesman assured me he would let his manager know. He is the manager… HE KNOWS! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They will waste your time to steal your money!

I delt with Jayce at this dealership. He was respectful and used very little pressure tactics when it came to my decision to purchase a 2006 bmw 330i from the dealership. I don’t have the best credit (like everyone else) but Trust Auto got me a reasonable loan with good interest. Thats the good side.
Bad Side:
*3month warranty is adervisted as ‘included’. It is not, it cost extra. If you request to waive any cost of a warranty whether through the dealer, bank or 3^rd party, the 3 months warranty advertised is gone. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT loophole.
1)After several cosmetic issues were promised to be fixed ASAP by management, I continuously got the run around by them about who, what, when and where it would get fixed. After about 2 weeks of riding them about it, they fixed the cosmetic problems.
2) Less than 2 months later, the coolant begins to evaporate in the motor causing the car to set off the overheat sensor. I take the car to a gas station by my work where they find that the coolant cap is loose. With that in mind, the shops best guess is that it is a head gasket leak and somebody loosened the cap to allow air into the motor so the problem would stay hidden for a longer period of time.
**Car dealers are expected, by law, to do a full point inspection on all vehicles before hitting the lot. Someone at the dealership, whether mechanic or manager, would have been aware of this issue with the coolant and I speculate that they had hidden this from me prior to purchasing with knowledge of this problem
3) I called th dealer requesting they purchase the vehicle back from me and I would be more than happy to purchase another car from them, even if cost more money. The manager said no because I signed the ‘As-​Is’ agreement.
Where is the 3 months warranty that was ‘included’?! The vehicle was purchased Feb. 19 2015
BUYER BEWARE

Omg this place!!! So, we bought a 2000 Eddie Bauer expedition, which we love. but here’s my complaints about the situation. keep in mind, I have about 3 years dealership experience (from an operations aspect) and know a lot more than the average Jane…
The truck needed to be jumped. they jumped it for the test drive. when we came back, shut off truck, wouldn’t start, they promised a new battery. (ok cool– this is normal for used cars, sitting cars isn’t good for batteries– new one fixes that, great.)
We were cash customers, and because we weren’t local, I asked about the title status prior to purchase, we were told it was on site. We went forward with the purchase. Then, they signed the title in the wrong place. We were told it would be mailed to us after they fixed it. (Ok fine, they said it’d be quick, we liked the truck.)
After calling and calling and calling, (and getting the run around) on exactly day 30, on a Saturday, the title shows up via FedEx. it was 2pm, the DMV is closed!
This truck is not a daily driver for us, it sits in the driveway. He starts it (weekly) and within a few weeks, it doesn’t start. (uh. just gave us a new battery I thought!) There goes $ 145 for a new one!
Since the title came extra late, and the tags were dead (and we have jobs, and kids, and life) we didn’t rush to get plates, until the beginning of Feb. (we bought it in Oct/​Nov.), we go to the DMV to find out that the paperwork that they provided to us was wrong. (really?) I call, I’m told I have to come in (oh– yippy!) after a 45 min. drive, they tell us «we have to get the title signed by the seller.» That was Mon. 2.2.15, it’s now 2.15.15 and I haven’t heard anything from them. not sure how this will turn out. the seller could have moved or died for all I know. (I sure hope not!)
We shall see how this turns out, I’m not impressed one bit with service so far. When you’re shopping for a used car you have to shop for the car you want, not the dealer, I wouldn’t go back to these guys if they had the car I wanted just b/​c they aren’t taking care of things as a respectable dealer would.

Worst dealership experience I have ever had. I traded down from a 2010 VW GTI with no mechanical issues (other than it did not have a sway bar due to aftermarket suspension) for a 2005 Saab 9−2x. The sales staff were polite and friendly but not what I would consider knowledgeable. After driving the 1 owner saab I had pointed out what looked to be a slow oil leak coming from behind the engine. The sales man pointed out that this was due to the age of the car and was not a big leak. I also pointed out that it sound like the car had an exhaust leak which I was assured it did not have. I should have had them put it on a lift to see under it but that was my fault. Instead I drove it home to eastern Pennsylvania where I then assessed the leak as I noticed the oil seemed to be low. The leak was not slow and was coming from one of the two headgaskets, the exhaust manifold was missing 2 bolts, the axel boot was ripped, and the ebrake did not work. I have no idea how this passed their virginia inspection. I called the dealership and told them what was wrong and took it back for repairs. In order to do the head gaskets on this particular vehicle the engine must be removed and because only one was fault they would not replace both. I understood and paid 700 out of pocket to have the other side replaced along with the timing belt and waterpump. They had the car for 2 weeks and dropped the car off at a half way point for me to pick up. Upon pick up there was a large dent in the passenger side fender from them working on it. Didn’t seem like too much of a problem so once the vehicle was home I was able to pop most of the dent out. There was also a weird vibration when stopping but did not seem to cause any issues. After some research I found this is a common occurrence if cheap aftermarket axels are used. Then 4000 miles later I pull my vehicle to the side of the road for overheating. It is towed to a garage where they tell me the headgaskets are bad. This was quite surprising to me as I just had them both changed. I paid 2000 out to have them all changed again and the mechanic said that the headgaskets used were not the recommended headgaskets for my vehicle and were known to be prone to failure. I called the dealership and asked what they would do for me as the repairs they made were not done correctly. I asked how they were going to make this right and if they would atleast send my 700 dollars back because they did not do the correct repairs. They basically said sorry, we do not warrent the repairs done at our shop. I write this so other people will not get swindled like I have by this dealership. If you do decide to buy something make sure you bring a mechanic with you who can check the vehicle and never let them take care of any repairs.

You would be better off purchasing a car off Craigslist. After searching for months upon months, I finally saw a car I liked and I thought I found a decent dealership with people that seemed trustworthy and dedicated to their customers and inventory of vehicles. I was wrong
I bought a Lexus that I saw advertising online (
), and had only been online for less than a month, so I jumped on the deal. The day I bought the vehicle is the day that I could take it home. The salesman helping us, superficially looked over the car with us before signing the final documents, checking all the major safety features. How is it I wonder, that they overlooked the wiring of the headlights and did not notice that they were trying to/​DID SELL A CAR WITHOUT WORKING HEADLIGHTS… My dad and I drove home the car unknowingly, at night, without headlights, only the brights/​fog lights were on. The day after the car’s purchase I notified my salesman at the dealership that they were no lights when the car was purchased. and he did not have much to say, he didn’t even offer to fix it.
Additionally, there was a throaty sound coming from the car, when I accelerated during the test drive, on the day of purchase, I asked for the dealership mechanic to look at it and try to figure out if something was wrong, he did not look at the car. He stated that he remembered the car, and that was the sound a stock Lexus makes…
After driving the car to and from work for less than one month, the sound has become more apparent and noticeable, my friend commented saying it was the BEGINNING of an exhaust leak.
Exactly TWO MONTHS after purchasing this car from Trust Auto, I took it for emissions inspection, and the mechanic told me that the sound that I am hearing is the beginning stages of an exhaust leak, and that it has been developing for more than a couple months…
How is it that the dealership/​mechanic said nothing about this sound and that it could be a possible beginning of an exhaust leak?
On a good note, I spotted a crack on the windshield and after haggling with the salesman/​owner, they took a couple hundred off the price tag and offered to have the windshield repair shop next to them fix it, and they would coordinate/​set it up with them for me, I agreed. So far, they are the hardest people to get ahold of to bring my car in to get repaired.
Great with the sale of a car, not great with the maintenance of them.

Let me state this up front, I have a hard time trusting anyone especially when buying a car for my family. After having been at at least 7 other used car dealerships that day, I really didn’t want to go for the 8^th but my wife showed me her research and they did have what we were looking for, so we stopped in expecting the same experience that we received from 1 – 7.
When we pulled up, the place was a storefront in an office park. Not your traditional lot. There were a lot of cars around the office. So in we went… The minute we walked in the door and we’re met by Russ and Paul, the vibe was different. DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THE LOOK OF THE PLACE! You’ll be sorry if you do.
Russ handled the deal only to find out he was the principal. In the other dealers, they were empty except for sales guys. Not at Trust Auto. The place was hopping and it was late on a Sunday night. It was hoping ever time we went back. A good sign…
I went over the truck with a fine toothed comb… twice and paid to take it to a Ford dealer to verify what I saw, look for things I didn’t and check for recslls. The car had some issues all minor except a front spring needed to be replace. Russ and is mechanics replaced both springs and repacked the rear gear box within a day and the truck was back to spec. The mechanic came in on his day off!!! (Btw, he likes case Corona Extra if your inclined ;)).
My daughter loved the truck and loved the service. We got a fair and honest deal. Straight up. We actually had a conversation about what was worth doing for both of us.
Paul could not have been more accommodating in helping us test drive the truck… at least 5 times. Thanks Paul!
When you meet with Stan, the Financial Man, he was forthright about what his lending sources could do and what ours could do. Making the deal was easy.
I wish I had bought the truck for myself. Maybe next time.
I have to say this, if you recognize that Russ needs to make money and you have to buy it at a fair price, you will not be disappointed at Trust Auto. They will patiently work with you as they did us.
I would go back there today if I needed a used car. Without hesitation or reservation.

Trust auto was very fairly priced with good sales staff. The relatively low processing fee of $ 249 was pretty nice. However, they lost my credit application, drivers license info, and insurance info. The car I bought ended up needing a catalytic converter a couple months later, $ 3000! I had bought a warranty, but canceled it a day later. It took them four months and a BBB report to send me the refund. Surprisingly, the warranty wouldn’t have covered the catalytic converter anyway. Don’t come here expecting an extravagant lounge either. The couches are comfortable and there’s a nice TV to keep you occupied if needed.

My husband and I bought a Ford Expedition from Trust Auto! The truck had some minor issues and they were able to fix it right away for us. We loved the customer service and Russ took good care of us. He met our needs over and beyond and my husband is happy with his truck.

My experience with Trust Auto was mostly good. I saw that they were selling a well-​kept 2000 Toyota Celica, and I had to check it out.
The test drive went well, the car was clean, and I felt like I finally found a new ride after many years.
I came back the next day; I decided that I would move forward with the purchasing process. Trust Auto allowed me to take the car over to an independent mechanic to perform a pre-​purchase inspection.
The mechanic found a few issues that would probably need some attention — some big, but most of them small.
Trust Auto has their own mechanics, so they were able to get the vehicle’s heat vents repaired as I requested.
Ely worked with me to finalize the purchase, the Celica was washed really well right before I drove it home, and Trust Auto extended a generous offer to fix my new car if it failed the emissions inspection.
My only gripe is that I don’t feel like I was given a fair price for my trade-​in; I felt I should have been given between $ 3,500 and $ 4,000 instead of $ 3,000.
Overall, the experience went well, but I feel like Trust Auto could have prepared the vehicle a little better for its new owner.

Trust Auto is fantastic. They have a low processing fee, an excellent 90 day warranty and were helpful and in no way trying to push a sale.
Ely Khodja helped us and you should ask for him when you go though everyone was great.
