Bought a 2010 4Runner with 80k from these guys 4 years ago. Have had zero problems with it since purchase– going on 130k now. The transaction went smooth and the guys were very helpful– pointing out both the benefits and the couple known flaws the car had at time of purchase. Didn’t feel pressured at all. As long as you know the car you want, and you know they have it, you’re all set.

We bought at 2002 Prius. The salesman was nice without being pushy. Of course he used the «someone is coming to test drive it shortly» line. But after that he was just fine. We drove it. Took it to a mechanic where it all checked out except the serpentine belt and a nail in the tire. The repaired/​replaced the problems. We didn’t try to haggle the price, it was a good deal. Usman was our salesman and while he was SLOW, he was friendly, up front and overall did a good job. He did not need to sell us. The mechanic did that. WE would go here again :-) I would give it 5 stars… but that is reserved for above and beyond service :-)

I spent 2 days visiting dealers, looking at cars, emailing sellers on Craigslist, and generally feeling stressed about all the negatives of buying a car from a dealer and all the negatives of buying a car from a private seller. Then I found Shell Motors. Benny and his team are awesome. I felt comfortable; they were friendly and made me feel at home. I spent hours there waiting on my credit union to send paperwork over and it couldn’t have been more pleasant. I highly recommend these guys. And their follow up has been stellar as well.

Biggest a$$holes around! (Pardon my language.) We called to make an appointment to see a car on their lot, explained that we were coming from out of town and had to zipcar to get there, etc. They told us about the car, gave us a time to come in, etc. We rented a zipcar (we had already sold our previous car and were looking for a replacement at this point,) confirmed the appointment that morning and showed up at the date/​time agreed upon… only to be told that the car WASN’T EVEN THERE. They had taken it for an inspection (on a Sunday???) and it wouldn’t be back until the next day. Needless to say we aren’t going back.

I bought my 2007 Toyota Prius from Benny Tokhi this past January. Benny was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful (my first time buying a car!). I would recommend anyone looking for a car to go to Shell Motors, they have fair prices, a 30 day warrantee, and excellent customer service. Recently, I contacted Benny for some paperwork I misplaced. He responded quickly and faxed the documents within two days. I’m so glad I found this great dealership!
