Omg best eyebrow threading service I’ve ever received. I have been through so many salons and waxers/​threaders so I know when I see a job well done with the brows. I HIGHLY recommend Sana day spa! I was super impressed by the interior too :) eyebrow threading is only $ 9 and it’s seriously worth every penny. If you need your brows done go here! Will be back soon thanks for an awesome job!

I went in for an eyebrow waxing and the ladies there recommended threading. I told them I have never done one before and went with waxing. Afrer waxing my eyebrows, they finished the left over hair with threading so that I can experience threading and I loved it. They were really nice ;)

Great threading salon. My tech was very sweet and had a gentle touch. The charge was $ 9. Also wanted a pedicure but wasn’t able to get one. No nail tech on duty for two weeks because she is on vacation. Wish they had more than 1 nail tech!

Absolutely love this place, been going here for around 3 years now to get threaded. Typically I always get the same lady (who I love btw) but today I got Indira who was also just as wonderful! She spent a lot of time on my eyebrows, making sure that they were perfect. And she didn’t thin them out, kept em’ nice and thick! In the end she gave me a nice message around my eyes, very nice!

I came here for the first time and am disappointed to say that I had a less than ideal experience here regardless of the 4.5 star Unilocal review. I asked the woman on the phone if there were any openings today, and she initially said no. When I told her that online there were several openings, she then spoke to somebody (I could not understand) and said I could come in the afternoon. So to cut to the chase, eyebrow and upper lip threading was great, but hair was not. The chair you sit in to wash your hair is very uncomfortable as it had no back support and the neck rest was hard, so I had to kind of hold myself up a bit. I asked for a deep conditioner and the woman put it all over my hair, not just the tips. I always thought you don’t want to put it at the root because it makes it look greasy but I didn’t question her. The haircut itself was OK, but she did not know how to style my hair properly. I asked for wavy, she looked a bit confused and attempted to pull the curling iron downward horizontally, which resulted in a kinky curled mess. When I realized she continued on with the same method, I asked her to change to straight instead. I felt like she burned the crap out of my hair from how many times she passed through. By the end, my hair was completely flat and my bangs were, low and behold, greasy and stringy. I ended up coming home, rewashing it and curling it myself and I felt soo much better.
I think this place has high reviews for its threading services, but based on my experience, definitely not for the hair. Maybe it was just the stylist I had, but I don’t want to single her out. She was very nice and professional but just not experienced. So be careful who you go to.

This review is only for waxing! The lady who did my wax was very nice, and that’s all good I can say. She try to use 2 – 3 strips for my entire leg, very painful, and never changed the applicator.

I took mom to see Anna today for a mani/​pedi for the first time here and Anna was wonderful. My mom has Alzheimers and Anna was so caring and understanding to my mom. Moms feet were in bad shape and they turned out wonderful. I highly recommend her.

I came to Sana Day Spa for a pedicure. Getting my feet done is a real treat for me and I value a technician who will listen to my needs, work efficiently, and pamper me for 20 – 30 minutes. Sana Day Spa hit the jackpot for me in the «service» department. Anna is the owner of the spa. As we talked throughout the session, she explained she has over two decades of experience in the industry. Each of the services offered in the spa is something she provide personally. Her experience shows in her technique and also in her customer interaction.
As a walk-​in, I had to wait for her to finish a pedicure for a previous client. She seated me, got my feet soaking, and pointed out the magazines so I could entertain myself for the 10 – 15 minutes I waited. Once she started on my feet, she was very good about hearing and acknowledging my concerns – I get ingrown toenails if they’re trimmed a certain way. Throughout the service she was communicative and pleasant, assuring me that by the end of my appointment I would have «baby feet.» I’m not sure my feet were quite that soft, but they felt and looked really good! Anna also provided hand lotion, so my hands weren’t neglected.
My four-​star rating has more to do with the overall professionalism of the rest of the visit. Three threading technicians lounged on a couch near the door and I felt awkward having an audience as I checked in and checked out. The receptionist was dressed very casually. Her young daughter ran up and down the facilities a couple of times while I was receiving my pedicure. Any one of these observations by itself is No Big Deal, but altogether it changed the tenor of the interaction. I felt less like a valued customer paying for a spa experience and more like an impromptu guest in someone’s home. This atmosphere might be best resolved by having a dedicated break area away from the service stations.

Always a great place for brow threading. For someone frugal like myself, I am taking down one star because it used to be $ 7 2 years ago but now it’s $ 8 which is still reasonable but please don’t raise it anymore. Coming from Queens, NY I refuse to pay more than $ 8 for eyebrows because in NY I use to pay $ 3 for excellent work by Bengalis.
But for Northern VA, Sana is hands down the best place!!! Mariam does my eyebrows– she is very gentle and takes her time. She cares about your concerns and she always make sure you leave happy. I give her more than 50% tip which I end up paying only $ 13 in total. At the mall threading eyebrows alone is $ 12 so imagine how much you end paying in total when leaving a tip… and they do not do a great job as Sanas salon!
I highly recommend this place!!!

I went a few times when they first opened and I wasn’t impressed with the brow threading. I decided to give it another shot after reading the reviews. I picked my own threader based on the reviews and she did a great job! I will come back to her again!

Great threading! I have very thin and hopeless eyebrows, but I feel that they still are able to shape them well! And for 8 bucks, you can’t beat that! I live near a mall where they have threading for much more than that and aren’t nearly as friendly.
I’m not sure if this is still a thing, but a while ago I know they changed their payment policy so that anything under $ 10 must be paid in cash. Just a warning in case you go for eyebrow only threading with a card.

My new go to eyebrow place! Ladies know how hard the struggle is to find a good brow salon & I finally found it. Indira is great! She’s my go to for my brows & I am very particular about my eyebrows. She listens to exactly how I want them & shapes them accordingly. And omg, the temple massage at the end is THE best!

Highly recommended! I have been coming here for over 5 years now! I get my eyebrows cleaned by SANA… she is truly the best in northern Virginia.

I LOVE THIS SPA. I’ve been a customer of the Ashburn location for nearly a year now and started frequenting the Chantilly location recently as it is convenient to my office. Sana is the greatest, a true professional. The prices here are great and they are very focused on providing a great spa experience and high quality customer service. Customer for LIFE.

Love going to Sana’s! I always have Sana thread my eyebrows — she’s the only one I trust to do it. I’ve been going here since they opened. I recommend if you want to try to get Sana then make an appointment. It’s rare when she’s not busy, especially on weekends.

I’ve been to this place before to get my brows threaded and the do a satisfying job every time I need a clean up. I stopped going for my brows because they need to be penciled in for my liking and I don’t have enough brows for a clean up… Lol TMI. However, I came across this place once more when I needed a gel manicure. I met Anna, one of the nail technicians there. She is awesome! My manicure would last up to 3 weeks, they have a variety of gel polish but not too much to get you confused or indecisive about your choice. Anna is personable, great as what she does and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants needs a good laugh or conversation. The ambiance is relaxing, they play spa music at the entire salon. Really helps with clearing the mind. It’s a quiet salon so you won’t hear a lot of chattering (if you’re into that).

I won’t be going back here. My eyebrows are so uneven after getting them threaded and this is not the first time I’ve had an issue with them being done wrongly or uneven here. It’s so irritating because I am very particular about my eyebrows (as are most women). I’ve attached photos as well. When I told the woman one eyebrow was thinner than the other, she advised me that it appeared that way because the eyebrow is lighter in color.
Meanwhile at the same time this is happening to me, there are two women next to me complaining to their eyebrow tech about how she had just ruined one of [their] eyebrows. The women were upset and definitely showed it (they even had to step out to smoke a cigarette to calm themselves before coming back in).
Moral of the story: I’m doing my own eyebrows from now while looking for a new place to receive these services from. They don’t even give you a temple massage, how do you call yourself a spa? Don’t even get me started on why I stopped getting waxed here. .. (I will update this post with that trauma later, and no, it was not my first wax).

I was nervous because I’ve literally NEVER done anything to my brows except have them waxed one time in my life. I’m 28 years old. After seeing Cinderella, my sister and I decided to tint our eyebrows — we are naturally VERY blonde.
She got hers done in Richmond and they look awesome so I did a ton of research and Sana Spa had the most reliable great reviews! I walked in without an appointment about 45 min till close and I didn’t catch the technician’s name, but she did a fabulous job threading my brows. I was nervous for the dye because my brows are blonde! They came out dark but she wiped them a few times and assured me they would fade as most dye jobs do.
I was skeptical at first, it is a dramatic change of my look!!! But they look AMAZING and I’ve been getting lots of compliments!

GREAT place to be. If you have never been there try Mariam first. She is so understanding and does exactly what you ask her to (my experience with eyebrows). I went one time and was in a hurry and Mariam was in a facial, so some other lady offered to do mine and i politely declined. She was very persistent so I finally gave him and she made my eyebrows look like nike checks. I have thick eyebrows, she literally took away have the thickness because she wanted to even them out, when my point of coming was just a clean up not a shaping.
PLEASE go to Mariam or Sana, they are both phenomenal for eyebrows.
Very fair pricing as well.

Only $ 8 for eyebrow threading and a little temple massage after. Calming music and nice staff. Beats a mall kiosk any old day.
