Same Day Appliance Repair

We used Same day repair to address our old, leaking water heater.
Everything was first class — quick response and quality work.
Additional challenges were no drain in the area and cramped quarters by the HVAC and central vacuum. We were lucky to get the owner and are very satisfied.

Consumer Beware!
Their website comes up first on a search, and they have the lowest fee in the area for the service call ($ 35). They also have a coupon on their site for $ 55 off the repair, so they’ve got a great site for attracting business.
My complaint is not about the repair. They fixed my dryer, and even with the coupon, the total cost was just shy of $ 200.
Here’s the reason for my review. After the guy left, I went to put in a load of laundry. Well, he’d told me that in addition to replacing the part, he removed a ton of lint from the dryer when he took it apart. What he DIDN’T tell me was that he left all of the lint and dirt on the floor! In addition, he’d apparently moved the dryer onto the carpet and ground all of the dirt in!
I sent photos to the company after I had tried to vacuum up the dirt from the carpet. I also spoke to a supervisor. His response? He told me they are not responsible for the damage to my carpet and that he planned to do nothing about it beyond speaking to the technician.
So, in addition to paying for the repair, I will now be paying to have the stains removed from the carpet. They are that bad (no over the counter spot treater will work).
I will never use this company again, and I’d like to warn anybody else.
