We have been a tenant for over 5 years and really enjoy the staff (Julie, Melissa, Beth) and very responsive. They are awesome.

I was a tenant with PPMI for 1 ½ years. They resolved any issues I had within a timely manner. All of their contractors were professional and prompt. I really enjoyed working with all the property managers (Erik, Julie, and Melissa). I highly recommend their services.

I was renting a property from PPMI for 2 years and the service and professionalism was great. Any issues were handled immediately without causing any issues to us. I highly recommend their services as tenants.

PPMI managed the property I rented for 2 years. They were very attentive to my needs, especially when something required service or maintenance. The PPMI staff were always professional and friendly. I would highly recommend.

Our property manager is a jerk and talks to us like we’re idiots.
He’s accusatory and acts as though the problems we bring to his attention were somehow our fault, he won’t replace our faulty washing machine with an appliance of equal quality (even when we offer to pay the difference — and without contacting the homeowners), and on the one hand he’ll send out their handyman to check on our cloudy water, some electrical issues we’ve been having, and the dishwasher making funny noises, but when we CC the handy man because it took over 2 MONTHS to make repairs the time before, he tells us not to do that because «he’s not an appliance tech».
Well, he’s also not a plumber or an electrician but you had him come out for that!!! I would be mortified to learn this if I were a homeowner!!!
Our next move is to contact his manager. Hopefully it’s just this guy and not a company-​wide issue.

I’m now being threatened with legal action, if I don’t take my review down. Eric P is apparently the owner of the company, and directly messaged that I take the review down. Initially he directed me to another company, PPM, that also operates in the Northern Va area. Once I pushed further, and reinforced my belief that my experience was with their company… he checked his archives. He was then able to find me, with information I provided. It’s weird to me that he was passing the buck to another company, and if I believed him… I would have possible written a bad review for a company I never even dealt with. I stand by my review, and do not appreciate intimidation tactics.

Eric, Erik and the rest of the team at PPMI were recommended to me by a family member who worked with Mr Purvis (the senior) years ago. I was in need of a rescue from my former «independent» property manager who had been doing anything but managing my property and let my previous tenants leave the place in an unacceptable state.
Erik and the rest of the team are professional, prompt, responsive, and throughly knowledgeable on what they do and what needed to be done with my property to get it ready to list again. They’ve helped me navigate the process of several major repairs and updates from out of state in a time line that seemed too expedient to be possible! The professionals they work with for landscaping, carpet, granite, and painting were also all professional, reasonably priced and prompt. PPMI is the 3^rd property management company I have worked with in the area and they are by far and away the most personable, professional and attentive company. They have given me piece of mind (which is truly priceless) knowing my home is in such good hands.

I used PPMI as a homeowner for nearly two years and was extremely satisfied with every aspect of their services.
