Superb Phở in a family atmosphere! Fast service. Everything fresh and tasty! I usually get the number 13 – and I highly recommend it. Plenty of close by parking and very reasonable prices.

I have tried quite a few Phở places around the Chantilly are b/c I work out here. This place is by far my favorite. First of all my most FAVORITE thing about this place… THEYDELIVER!!! :) So, I normally always order the Shrimp Phở. The broth flavor is great, and its always piping hot! The shrimp are nice and plump and have excellent flavor, not like most other places where the shrimp is bland and flavorless. The crispy eggrolls are decent as well. I’m used to them being slightly bigger, but the flavor is still there. I just wish they would put more of that yummy fish sauce with the eggrolls when they are delivered. The service was always quick and pleasant when I would go to pick up my order. And now when I get it delivered it gets to my office in about 20 mins, and the staff is always so pleasant with me.

Great food but the service is hit or miss if the server’s English is choppy. Non-the-less the food is very affordable and delicious.

Staff was very courteous and friendly. We got the lunch special vermicelli bowl with a spring roll, fresh summer rolls, and Vietnamese ice coffee. Tasted good but a little bland. Overall good experience, would come again.

I have been here on and off for several years. To me it has more hit’s than misses. I can always count on hot, fast and friendly food at a good price!

I have been visiting this establishment on and off since I moved to Chantilly, VA. Generally, satisfying and good value. Lately, it appears the place got a makeover and a new management team took over. My last visit wasn’t on par with my previous experiences. The spring rolls are rather greasy. Phở is marginal. The broth is not very tasty and a tad salty. Service was rather abrupt, too. There are plenty of places serving better phở in the area, but perhaps I’ll try Phở Bac again after management settles in.

I love their shrimp fried rice! Hits the spot every time. Phở Bac is a vietnamese restaurant with all sorts of great entrees to choose from, my go to is the shrimp fried rice. Sunday I tried their bubble tea(Thai iced) it was great! I recommend trying their bubble tea if you haven’t already. The atmosphere is very family orientated, as in you can tell this is family own and run which is always nice. You’ll get great service here and great food.

Maybe I just got a good run of beef phở, but it was some of the best I’ve had in NOVA. I will say this, I grew up with a Vietnamese immigrant who lived with us. We called him uncle and he has been having us eat phở since I was 6(80’s when you had to go to Asian markets to get cilantro). I feel like my taste is fairly discerning. This was top notch, but who knows I’ll try it a few more times to see if it’s consistent.

We were feeling lazy and decided to try the latest menu that had been dropped at our door. I first looked it up to see the delivery distance and it’s only about 1.6 miles to our place, score! Now hope sets in that it’ll be worth it because we are seriously lacking in good Chinese food. Firstly, the girl who answered the phone was so nice and sweet I actually said to my bf, I want to be her friend! haha, perfect English which is a plus anywhere you order from because phone orders get as mixed up as sarcasm over text messages. 5 stars for service and professionalism! Now the food. We ordered the combination lo mein which had chicken, shrimp, and steak(I think), it was yummy but definitely different from Chinese places as this is a Vietnamese restaurant that also has the classics of Chinese restaurants. We ordered 2 orders of the spring rolls which were fried perfectly and filled with pork and veggies– loved them. I ordered the spring roll and pork vermicelli bowl– YUM. our order came to $ 26 and for $ 30 you can get a general tso’s or fried rice, so we added the chicken wings(don’t let the appreacnce fool you– they’re fantastic) to make our total $ 31 and got that general tso’s.also– delish! We were pleasantly surprised by the customer service, deliciousness of each dish, and amount of food we had left over which I ate for lunch and dinner the next day. We will definitely keep this in our ordering roster.

The hubs and I love this place. We have been to a few places for phở but we like this one the best. Great portions and friendly staff. They even made spring rolls without pork in them for us when we asked. Very yummy!

This place was better when the old owner was there yearrrrss ago. The broth to me is too bland and way too oily, but it’s a decent place to go to. The only thing I feel like hasn’t change is their price. They have a really good lunch special for about $ 8 and that includes the phở meal or vermicelli bowl, soda, and one spring roll or summer roll. It’s a good place to come for a quick meal, but not the best phở place I’ve been to. For something quick and cheap I’d recommend it, but for better tasting, I’d go elsewhere that are close by as well.

Wait, what happened to all the reviews? Phở Bac had a decent number of reviews, and it had a solid 3 star rating. Not sure if Unilocal took it down, but this is a shame because Phở Bac is actually pretty good. This place is my go-to lunch place when I want to get phở during the weekday with my boyfriend. Lunch special is about $ 8, with entrée, crispy spring roll, and a soda. The spring rolls have improved greatly and they’re really good! Nice, large size and super crispy. The phở broth has improved over the years as well, is very flavorful and comes out piping hot. Service is always prompt and friendly. Admittedly, the atmosphere and the décor isn’t the best. but who goes to a phở place for the fancy decorations? At least they speak English well here and we have no problems communicating to the servers. No, it’s not the best phở I’ve ever had, but the combination of food, price, and service all work for me.

There are many better options for phở in this area, but Phở Bac is a pretty cheap eat, so at least it has that going for it. This time around, for $ 7.95 I got myself a lunch special of a regular-sized bowl, crispy roll, and a glass of soda. + Broth is improved over a few years ago. Meaty, with hints of clove and sugar, not bad! + The phở comes out super steamy and hot. + Food service is pretty quick and responsive. — Portion size of both noodle and meat is on the«economical» side. — Usually lean cuts of meat were stringy and a little grisly, and very bland on their own. — Spring roll was crispy, but pretty oily — I think that’s an oil temperature problem, and it made an otherwise tasty roll much blander than it should’ve been. Also came with a very small dribble of dipping sauce… I understand trying to reduce food waste, but it seemed a little stingy. — Restaurant itself is somewhat dark, which contributes to a somewhat dated and utilitarian atmosphere. Bottom line, if you’re scrounging your couch cushions for change and desperately need phở, Phở Bac can probably meet your needs. But you can find better quality in this area, and it may be worth the extra $ 1.
