Excellent bait for fishing and even better cheesecakes & pies ! I had been meaning to come here, but it never worked out on last year’s vacation. Staying near Crystal Falls, it was well worth the drive over.
Maybe they should change the name to «Midtown Bait & Bakery «.

Delicious pies and cheesecakes!
This is the best-​kept secret in the area. Scrumptious, fresh-​from-​the-​oven desserts, baked from scratch. They go quickly, so you should call ahead if you have a particular flavor in mind, but I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve had here. From pear caramel pie to maple bacon cheesecake to cream puffs to hand-​scooped ice cream, everything I’ve tried there has been delicious. Their coconut cream is probably the best I’ve ever tasted. And the family that runs it couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. From the outside, this does NOT look like a place for pie, but take a chance on it and you’ll be glad you did.

When my buddy told me to stop here and get pie, I was afraid I was going to be the victim of a practical joke. Then they led me into the back room and had pie. It was blueberry and It was excellent. Call ahead for special orders, and I am not making this up. The pie and the service are excellent.
