The Home Depot

Not a fan of big box stores. I can never find a sole to help me, even when I shout out loud that I need help. If you know what you want and or doing, this is the place but if you need assistance forget it! Ugh. If I didn’t need a specialty door I would have been out of here hours ago.

This is my go-​to Home Depot. I live in the middle of 5 different H.D.‘s. All in all I find them pretty much the same. I have had the best experiences with the staff of this location however. Not that my run-​ins with employees at the other stores have been bad, but from the paint guy, the guy in lights/​switches to the cashier working outside in the nursery, I’ve always had a pleasant experience.
Good Staff. Organized and clean store. 4 Stars.

WOW! Yeah, not happening again, Home Depot.
At least not this particular location.
Went in seeking a Chrome Dance Trip Lever for the guest bathroom toilet (thing snapped when we had company over, haha).
Armed with the SKU number and everything, because I’m not a «do-​nothing bitch» around the house who needs her husband to fix everything. *eyeroll*
Found the correct aisle and bay number, nothing. Huh, that’s strange, HD’s website said they were in stock.
Asked two frenzied associates for help.
Got nothing but yelled at how «busy she was». Even repeatedly yelled at me to «Get out of the aisle!» while walking two other customers down it.
Finally was able to get help from the second associate, who informed me that when their website says it’s available in store, that means I would have to order it online and pick up at the customer service desk.
Wait, what?! This makes no sense.
Immediately walked out and went down the street to Lowe’s where I immediately found the part needed.
Go to any Home Depot but this one, folks.

Very horrible workers try to get help nobody would help everyone was hiding and being very lazy and disrespectful and bathroom stall smell like shit and employees were trying to argue with me my friends dad was screaming and yelling about no one wants to help someone took shit and wrote on the wall gm was arguing and screaming with my friends dad while people were goofy around and scream and fighting and the price were to high and stuff lowes is much better joe was trying to argue with my friends dad about wood and stuff don’t go here

Good deal… Had a Husky toolbox issue… Broken sliders on the drawers… More than satisfied Trevor really came through and helped me out as the tool box I was returning had been discontinued… Trevor gave us no less than two options in replacing the broken toolbox and was instrumental in getting it on my truck… I’m generally more of a Lowe’s fan but the customer service today was way above and beyond

Home Depot has lost this homeowner and family. I bought a Samsung fridge online and scheduled the free delivery for a Saturday. After one initial voicemail about measuring doorways, and one voicemail that sounded like a pocket dial, I called them to confirm the upcoming delivery. Then delivery day came and my husband was there to receive. Two guys showed up that unfortunately didn’t communicate well in English, one a little and one not at all. They came in the kitchen, saw that we had an RO water line, and started to refuse delivery. The hubby told them we would hook it up and that we understood they couldn’t do that. I’m thinking it was the lack of English, but one delivery guy got extremely upset, yelling at my husband and then taking a physical SWING at him. Really? He missed, but still. They just kept saying ‘refuse’ and then they loaded up our paid-​in-​full fridge and drove off, leaving behind their clipboard on our counter with all the day’s deliveries on it. My husband called the store and was told there was nothing they could do. Home Depot uses a 3^rd party delivery company, Barlows I believe. If they refuse you’re screwed, even if they don’t speak English and they assault you. Home Depot said they could schedule ‘box delivery’, but that we would have to pay for it and that they would only leave the 400lb fridge at the end of our driveway. We spoke to several managers and ultimately we were told they were tied to their contract with Barlows and their own Home Depot policies. They had no desire or ability to fix it. We got a refund and went to Lowe’s. Awesome experience all the way through. Lowe’s wins our business for a long time. And Lowe’s offers a military discount on top of sales and they deliver 7 days a week!

Staff is super helpful! John suggested my hubby rent a chain saw instead of buying one of theirs. They don’t rent them but somewhere HD does. He bought one anyhow and the staff was very helpful in explaining what was needed. When I bought a grill they helped load it in my van.

Incompetent staff, does not know how to complete a transaction. I wanted to use two cards for my transaction but the staff did not know how to use two cards and forcibly completed my transaction using one card. Had to waste more than an hour trying to get my order cancelled by waiting for my turn at the customer service. But no luck.

I came in today mostly to get an idea of what is was going to cost to carpet the master bedroom in my home. While looking around I asked an employee (Bob Carter) if he could help me. I have NEVER bought carpet before, and felt Bob did a great job in answering all of my questions, and later writing up my order. I did NOT come in with the intention of buying, but Bob’s relaxed approach at simply answering my questions made it easy. After asking my questions I asked Bob if he was commissioned, and he said no. So I told him I wanted to look around and would check back later. After looking around, I went back to Bob and we wrote an order. I HOPE the rest of my buying experience is as smooth/​comfortable as this was.

Staffs are friendly, helpful and the place is also organized. I love coming here whenever I need some things for my household. They always greed you at the door and direct you to the aisle for items you are looking for

Went to get a Christmas tree last night. We walked up at 8:40. I know they close at 9, but we are quick. When we got to gardening they told us they where trying to close and when my husband asked what time they closed, they said 8. Kind of unprofessional to lie about closing time especially when you can just check online. We would have been out the door before 9. We have crazy hours and this was the only time we could do this together. I always bought my trees here, but if they don’t want my business, I will go elsewhere.

Great customer service experience today!
I went to buy plumbing parts — but since I didn’t know the name of anything, I took pictures of the «stuff» with my phone placing a tape measure along side. The person helping me looked at the photos, gathered all the items and explained how the pieces would fit back together. Thank goodness!!!
Without his help I never would have been able to figure it out. Sometimes you need and use all the parts in the box, and sometimes you don’t. Who knew???

I love Home Depot. So much better than Lowes. They always have staff ready and available to assist you with what you need. Staff is always courteous and friendly.

I like this home depot. I’ve been going here for years. The people are so nice and friendly.
I was there trying to install a dog door and had to make a couple trips back and forth for resizing purposes after find out my wall didn’t support the super extra large dog door I bought. I come back with a mess of packaging and doors and screws and the guy welcomes me with a smile and asks if I would like my money back cash or credit.
Now, that’s good service.
Also, I feel like as a woman (in a skirt), the people at Lowe’s kinda underestimate me, or think I only go there for the painting section. Home Depot peeps are always wondering about my next big project when I stroll in here.
So I adore Home Depot.
I’m subtracting a star because I’ve been misled by the greeter quite a few times on which aisle I should be heading to.

Shopping carts throughout the parking lot and in spaces where you want to park your car. It’s after 800 am and the garden area is not open yet. I don’t get that. Areas in garden are blocked off for an operating fork lift so I can’t pick up garden plants. :-(Then I pay for my items and the only open registers are by the commercial area and this exit is at the opposite end of the main entrance. Dislike.

Home Depot/Lowe’s-What’s the difference. Convenience of locations-​yes. Pricing-​Blahhhh. They are a necessary evil when doing projects around the home or if your business entails, doing projects around somebody else’s home. Clean location and the employees here are friendly. Don’t mind my enthusiasm, this place deserves a three star review because nothing says exemplary. However, I will say hats off to Home Depot for offering a military discount. Anything that helps veterans & soldiers is good in my book

It’s Home Depot. What can you say? They have a wide variety of home repair and improvement products. They also have a good return policy. And they seem to have more knowledgeable associates than a few years ago. The advice is generally reasonable.
Some products are very cheap, and I tend not to buy them here. Plastic plumbing valves, for example. I want solid brass. Sometimes they have it, sometimes they don’t. But some stuff is just fine (PVC, fasteners and hardware, tubing and pipe, etc). For many products I come here first.

A typical Home Depot layout, with various selections of the same type of item to choose from. Despite it being a busy Saturday, quite a few employees asked us if we needed anything while we were looking for various home improvement products. The garden section is cool, with a lot of different herbs and vegetables/​fruit (Including various varieties of heirloom tomatoes) to browse through.

Dependable service, most items in stock and even bought my appliances here.
