Sun Lakes Nails & Spa

We tried this salon for the first time tonight. My daughter got acrylic nails and they look fantastic! The lady took her time and they were very friendly (even though it was closing time).
We’ll be going back for another set of acrylics and our fills. I highly recommend this salon.

Decided to try this place out because it is closer to my house than the place I normally go & they had a 30% percent promo running so it seemed like the perfect time.
Right off the bat it was frustrating because we had an appointment but ended up waiting 40 minutes anyway. Once I got to my guy to get a fill he kept trying to upsell me to get additional services that I did not need. Let me just say that this was the worst nail job I have ever gotten. He made my nails shorter when I specifically told him to leave it the same. They were so chunky & were sooo obvious that they were acrylic nails. There was no shape to my nail other than fat. Awful job, but I guess you get what you pay for.
I also ended up getting my lip waxed there & the bed they had me lay on was super unstable. The sheets they had over the bed were reused by each customer & not sanitary at all. The lady used a low quality Carmel looking wax (not the pink kind) & I’m pretty sure she double dipped her stick into the wax. Gross gross gross. I wish I would’ve noticed before the wax was already on my face. The wax wasn’t even entirely super smooth either.
Next, my mom got her nails painted & a pedicure. Nothing outstanding BUT SHE GOT TOE FUNGUS FROM THE PLACE. She’s never experienced anything like this before & that just shows how awful they are.

I recently moved to this area and have been looking for a nail salon. After visiting other places, I found Sun Lakes Nails. I’ve had both manicures and pedicures. The service is great and the staff is friendly. They make you feel welcome and appreciated. Sophie’s free-​hand nail designs are incredible. I will be a regular!

We very much appreciate the care and attention we get at Sun Lakes Nails and Spa. We are always welcomed with a smile when we enter and they give us much time and attention to my daughters as they do to me. Many places will not engage with them for some reason and rush through their manis and pedis. Not here… and that’s why I continue to give them my business.

They take too long. I had a gel manicure that took them near 2 hours. I’ve never had to sit at a nail salon THAT long.

Updated my rating based on my second visit being awesome. My first fill lasted 2 weeks so today I ordered a pedi along with another fill. Great service in 70 mins!

I normally go to Delightful Nails but wanted to go to a place closer to where my kids were being watch… Momma needed some «me» time… so I checked this place out. I got a full set; the tech didn’t talk much but did an OK job. I’ve definitely had better and will be returned to Delightful for fills.

This salon is great and they do the best pedicure with the best massage ever. I’m very picky so to say i was impressed is big. The salon is clean and the owner is very friendly and concerned about pleasing the clients. Highly recommend
