History

Established in 2013.

Occulus Films was initially the result of collaboration between two brothers: Dominic LaRovere and Nick LaRovere. Beginning their professional careers as many in the film industry do, they created small videos with friends and family, and over time, developed the passion they have for their craft today.

After deciding to make their passion into a career, Dominic and Nick began seeking out others with whom they could collaborate; others with the same drive and desire for excellence.

Occulus Films grew a team of dedicated, talented, and hardworking individuals with great collective experience in film.

Since then, it has grown. While Dominic spearheads the technical aspects as Director of Photography and Chief Editor, Nick operates mainly as a Producer and Director, ensuring every project runs smoothly from pre-​production to the finished product.

Meet the Business Owner

Nick L.

Business Owner

Nick is a graduate of New Mexico Military Insitute and a former psychology student at UA. He is a Paralegal Specialist with the Army National Guard and currently studies film at Scottsdale Community College. He writes, directs, and produces, but loves the creative and planning steps of creating films. He has the passion, motivation, and drive to bring stories to life through film.
