Nails Studio 54

Everyone there was so kind from the moment we walked into the door. I went in with my husband and my daughter, hubs got a pedicure, my kiddo got a manicure and a pedicure with design and I got a gel manicure. For all of that our total bill was $ 83 (before eyebrow wax). NOT TOO SHABBY. I will definitely be going back.
I also had Bebe do my eyebrow, in and out of the wax room in about 5 minutes and they look great. $ 10 for an awesome wax!
Also they close at 6 on Sundays, there were literally people walking in at 6pm and they did not turn them away, nor were they rude or unprofessional. Completely shocked me, in a good way.

I came here for a quick pedicure after hiking nearby mountain, and was in need of some pampering. This place was immediately available and closest from where I parked to carpool for hiking.
Walking in, I saw pedi stations on the right and noticed on plastic liners. I was quite pleased with cleanliness of this place. Everything including floor was clean and they used tools out of sanitized packet (as they are supposed to do).
I went hiking and had a drink at lunch, so I was tired and dozed off several times as my tech worked on my pedi and massage. Massage chair was comfortable and I was totally relaxed for nice one hour.
They do have 20% off Unilocal check in offer but only valid on weekday.

No, that’s not my reaction after seeing my polished piggies… that’s my disbelief at not being offered an upsell.
Yuko and I came after hiking Picacho Peak, with our feet needing sweet relief. Mine actually needed a pedicure bad, as the previous pedicure’s polish from 4 months prior, now looked like French tips on my downtrodden digits. Take a couple of seconds and let that visual sink in.
I received a basic $ 25 spa pedicure, and the massage portion was pretty darned nice. I probably would have bit on the paraffin upgrade, but that $ 5 is snuggled safely in my wallet

Very clean, attentive and fast! My acrylics look great very natural! A bit pricey, but I Guess if you want a good job you have to pay for it. She charged me $ 47 for taking off my original set, putting a new clear set on and full nail gel paint.

Great atmosphere and kind staff. Excellent customer service! Loved the previous owner, Jenny. I also think I will love new owner, Bebe. I was very impressed with level of service and upbeat atmosphere.

They are under new management. The previous owner Jenny sold her shop which is very disappointing. Since the change in ownership the prices have skyrocketed, all of their best staff have left, and the services have taken a turn for the worse. I will be going somewhere else from now on.

Came here to get a pedicure and I’m from California and they so an amazing job. Take their time and are very thorough. Thank you Lonny! I’d I’m ever back in AZ IM COMING TO YOU

BEST NAIL SALON!!!
Why is this the best?
–Cleanliness– You can tell the owners take pride in their salon. The salon, bathroom, and technicians are all very clean. The best thing is all the tools are packaged and opened in front of you.
–Professional– You are always greeted at the the door, and attended to very promptly. The technicians are very friendly, skilled, and gentle. We were remembered after only two visits.
I drive over 30 minutes just for this nail salon, and it is the only one I will go to.
TIP: Guys with manicured nails and pedicures are sexy. No woman likes crunchy calloused feet. There are always men in this salon, so don’t be afraid to get your nails did.

My last two pedis were mediocre. I wanted to love them but this was the last time I waste my time and $$$. Today I left with streaks in my polish and polish on my skin. I wanted to find a place closer than Ken’s, but I guess I’ll have to suck up the drive and know I’ll leave happy. Also a bit pricey for what you get…

I visited Nails Studio 54 seeking some much needed post work, TGIF pampering.
And boy, did they deliver!
It wasn’t incredibly busy upon arrival, so I was able to get into a pedicure chair immediately.
While the spa is quite minimalist in terms of décor, it’s actually clean (I’m referring to the floors, which always seem to be filthy in these types of nail salons) and that’s never a bad thing.
Again, Pinterest appeal vs. Your health and wellness — You pick!
You’ll find 10 plush pedicure chairs. I’m not too sure about the manicure side, but the salon is also divided nicely into manicure and pedicure sections.
It’s also nice that the desk is up front with a waterfall /​divider wall where all the nail beautification is going down — You won’t find that awkward everyone turning and looking at you when you arrive here as a tech asks you what services you’d like!
I went with the Spa Pedicure ($ 25) and the added Callous Remover ($ 5).
Lanny was my technician and she did an incredibly thorough job with both the grooming and polish job (went with Essie’s ‘Butler Please’). No sloppily trimmed or filed toenails, stray polish, or worse, cuts.
Can we also talk about that massage? Holy smokes. Lanny is a pro, and made it a point to tell me it’s OK if I tell her that it hurts too much. Aw, heck no — Get in there; felt fabulous after being tortured by my physical therapist and lifting coach!
She was both a great conversationalist while still allowing me to get some reading in on the tablet! Total doll.
I also appreciated seeing Lanny pull out a fresh pair of tools from a steri-​pack. Last month at the other nail establishment at Casa Paloma, I witnessed a technician sterilizing implements IN A GLASS CUP. Disgusting — Someone get the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology in there, stat!
The pedicure lasted an entire hour and not once did I feel rushed!
My only suggestion to management: Slow your roll with the upselling. I realize the next level up pedicure is $ 35 and includes that Callous Remover, but I saw no need for the additional service. It wasn’t incredibly pushy, but I didn’t find it appropriate after declining twice.
Also, with the 20% off check-​in offer: I hate to be nit picky, but 20% off $ 30 is $ 24 — Not $ 25.
I’m cautiously optimistic about future visits, but I really enjoyed my experience and will certainly come back to see Lanny after work next month!

Friendly people, great service, reasonable prices and a large nail polish selection! Hunz did my manicure (it was priced at $ 15) and he was super nice and personable. I suggest going to him for your manicures! The boyfriend got a pedicure and had a great experience as well. We were able to walk right in and get worked on — will be coming back for sure!

Fabulous spot! Definitely recommend and will be back! Never been here before and they knew me by name when I walked in at my appointment time. Highly recommend making an appointment. I was treated to a manicure by Eric, who is awesome at what he does!

Got my toes done here on a spur of the moment. I did not have a reservation and happened to walk in behind a big group. It took a short wait but they took care of me. The first seat I sat in was broken but they moved me and everything was great after that. The pedicure was nice and really needed.

Kathy did a great job! They were very nice and both my mani/​pedi were well above other salons in the area!

I have been very impressed with Nails Studio 54 every time I have come in. Most recently a friend and I came in to get pedicures and our experience was fantastic. The pedicure chairs were very clean and comfortable. The ladies doing our nails were very polite and gentle which is important to me. I wanted a pretty intricate design and my nail tech was able to accommodate my blue ombré request. Overall a good experience. I will be back.

I have been here 3 times so far, and every experience has been OUTSTANDING. I’ve lived in phoenix 2 years and the other nail salons I’ve visited have been less than average. But when I came across this little jewel in the desert I knew I had found the place for me!!! As a newbie to phoenix, finding a good nail salon can be tedious, expensive and disappointing. I’m so glad I found this place!
ALL the STAFF here are so sweet. They are friendly, smiley, and so respectful. They made me feel comfortable. They talked to ME while they took care of me (not gossiping with each other about customers, ignoring me, while they speak in another language. This always made me so uncomfortable but I don’t see that here, it’s very refreshing.) They are NEVER PUSHY trying to upsell so they make more money. I really felt like they wanted me to be happy and gave me what I wanted/​needed, not the other way around. I never feel like I’m bothering them by asking them questions about what I want, they are very patient and cater to the needs of their clients. Very professional. They treat their customers, especially loyal regular customers, like family. So down to earth and kind.
The SALON feels like a high end salon with all new WORKING massage chairs that match. It’s clean and tranquil. Open and well lit. Super nice and feels good being in there. Great location too, Starbucks is right next door!;)
The WORK they do is impeccable. They take their time, even when it’s close to closing time they never rushed me to get out of there. They make sure what you pay for is what you get and that you are satisfied with what they do for you. The PRICE is VERY GOOD!!! Especially for what you get. I usually get a pedicure and a gel manicure. Every time the GELS are PERFECT and last for weeks. They make sure not to get it on your cuticle and round out the edges perfectly so your manicure lasts a long time. They give great massages on the spa pedicure and I recommend the herbal treatment! What a delight! They spend a long time massaging and put several kinds of lotions and oils so your feet and legs are ridiculously smooth. And of course they make my toes look amazing and the polish lasts for weeks and weeks.
I can go on and on and on about this place! I love it and recommend it to anyone that wants a good and relaxing experience, at a great cost. Love it!!!

I wanted to try out a new nail place and this one was rated pretty highly. Now that I have been there I don’t see why it would deserve 5 stars. The place is pretty small and there is really no decoration or anything special to it. There is a water fountain near the front check-​in area but you can’t see it while you are seated for a pedicure. You certainly can’t hear it; all I could hear while I was there was the buzzing from the acrylic nail buffing tool that sounds like a dentist drill. Not exactly relaxing. I know all nail places have that but this place has pretty bad acoustics because I found it extremely loud. Also the chemical smell, again present at even the best nail salons, was overwhelming. They did not have an ventilation at all. Overall it just was not a pleasant environment.
However, my nail tech was very nice and did a great job. And my pedicure only cost $ 25. So, that is still A-​OK in my book for when I need to just stop in and get my toes done. But Pink Polish still has them beat for atmosphere.
