Infusionsoft

I would call it a «scam», but I would not go that far. All they care about is sales and THEIR marketing. Once they get you with their flawless pitch and pretty advertising and videos, there is not much substance. I signed up for $ 3,000 kickstarter on March 30^th. So far, all i got from them was 1 hour strategy call. Gotta give it to them, they recruit the best phone talent in the industry. Today Vanessa from their «loyalty» department almost did a flip backwards to give them another chance and I almost gave in, but they will not get me the second time. As the saying goes, cnce is a mistake, two times is stupidity. Do not bother with this company, they just know how to sell their garbage, actually I should not be saying that, as ultimately I never got to even try it.

I tried them about 6 months back and felt like their kickoff training was not very helpful and I found out it was from an outsourced company. Perhaps thats why it wasn’t as good as hoped. I found the software to be overwhelming and hard to use. I was surprised that their mobil app was difficult to use and was told when i’d called support that the simple thing I was trying to do was not possible yet but they were working on it. I thought ok great.
I then became very busy with other areas of my business and decided to put Infusionsoft on hold. I received a really great 50% offer if i continued to keep an account with them. At the time I had no interest so I passed.
Fast forward six months and I as i’m in a better position to get back into a marketing software I call them up hoping to get some sort of discount or break for having already been a customer and paid a big amount to be «trained»
Long story short my conversations with the sales guy was «hey we aren’t a used car lot you know»! He was very rude and I was willing to pay upfront $ 2400 for their essential program. I asked if there was any advantage at all to being a previous customer, he said no and basically tried to make me feel like an idiot. I didn’t appreciate it.
He said something along the lines of «we’re going public soon so thats just how it goes now». Like we don’t care screw you. I literally would have signed up again if he would have given me a $ 20 discount, I was looking for any reason to keep paying them money and his response was hey «we’re a big deal take it or leave it»! So I left it and will spend the rest of my days letting people know how I feel about them. Not bitter at all though, haha

I think at the end of the day, why I would purchase Infusionsoft again and recommend it… would be the staff that supports the project. They are a sharp and professional bunch. From Jeremiah Sarkett and John Lang, you can tell they are committed to the customer and loyal to their company and solutions. You really do get what you pay for. Thank you for the great experience and I look forward to a long and successful relationship.

These people provided great customer service. Came here for a training and the team is Unbelievable good everyone knows what they are talking about and all the new information. Best CRM company around I highly recommend using Infusionsoft.

I tried the «demo» which is in fact not a demo at all… it’s a sales call with a representative that tells you everything you want to hear…
Next, they ask you for a credit card to pay for the 1^st month.
Then they upsell you on the coaching for $ 1500.
And finally once they swipe your credit card you get access to the «demo» and software…
Once I actually got to using it, I realized the software is a jack of all trades, but a master of none so I asked to cancel my account and get prorated for the days in didn’t use…
They said it is non-​refundable, so now I am out $ 1879 for a 14 day trial of a software program I am never going to use…
You say you built the software for small businesses, but all you do is prey on them with your predatory sales tactics and bogus refund policies…
A legitimate business that cares about and respects small businesses would offer a free demo first of all, and secondly refund money to busineses that did and will not use their service.
Shame on you!

I ran across Infusionsoft at a seminar of Noah St. John — author of Afforemations. I signed up. It was expensive for me (I am a very small business — a hypnotist working on smoking and weight loss in Warwick Rhode Island). But I thought it was a good program to try for the benefits it seems to offer. They hooked me up with a consultant named Margo who was great, very professional and concerned. Margo and I had a chat or two. I think I had already paid them $ 1300 or so. I decided it wasn’t for me. Very promptly and with no pushback Infusionsoft refunded the full $ 1300. This is despite the fact that I had begun the process and had officially been subscribed for almost two months. I almost never write a Unilocal review, but felt I owed them a few words to counter some glaring negative Unilocal reviews I read here. My experience with Infusionsoft customer service could not have been better. When I read the reviews here I thought I was going to potentially lose all my money. It turned out just fine. This does not mean, of course, my experience with them is typical. But it was my experience and thought anyone reading their Unilocal comments should know and evaluate as part of other due diligence you undertake before making a decision. They didn’t have to be as accommodating as they were with me but they were. Overall a positive experience.

UPDATE January 11, 2016: InfusionSoft refunded my money and I was told by someone on Twitter @AskInfusionsoft they «recognize our cancellation process needs improving» so hopefully they are working on their process and this will not continue to happen to others.
No services or system have been provided, they refuse to refund the $ 900 & they’re telling me they’ve cancelled my account per my request and will keep my $ 900 and continue to charge me for the next 2 months. When I decided to try this system, I had NO DEMO but was told there was no paperwork or agreements. NO TERMS OR CANCELLATION POLICIES WERE DISCLOSED. I gave my credit card # to get going & begin their mandatory «Kickstart» coaching costing $ 1500, not knowing I was under obligation of any kind if it wasn’t the right system for me. They charged $ 900 immediately. Within 10 days of trouble setting up my account and an attempted «coaching» call –where she was in a call center atmosphere with people yelling and talking loudly in the background and I couldn’t hear her speaking — while she was unaware of my business being in real estate and what kind of business I had… I stopped the call within 5 – 10 min and told her that this was not what I expected.
I called and told the rep I didn’t want to continue with this solution at this point. After over a week of calling and emailing, Blake finally called me. He said that the $ 1500 is NOT for coaching, it’s an «onboarding fee» and nothing more. I asked what an «onboarding fee» is, and he said it’s just a mutual agreement that we’re working together — that’s it. It’s not for the coaching. It’s for the Access to it — «like a gym membership –if you don’t go to the gym you can’t ask for your money back». I told him that using his example, gym memberships have agreements that you sign acknowledging you understand the terms. I did not sign anything. Their website explains how you are required to pay for MANDATORY KICKSTART SERVICES and outlines training and coaching that you receive for paying $ 1500. No services or system have been provided and not only are they refusing to refund the $ 900 but they’re telling me they’ve cancelled my account per my request and will keep my $ 900 and continue to charge me for the next 2 months.

The pitch and product make it appear that this software does it all. On some level, I think it might possibly work (I mean if I didn’t think so I would not have tried it, but wow was I fooled!) if you can sit for hours with an Infusionsoft coach (who may not really understand the product) go through all the webinars, go to Arizona for a seminar or just have a designated person who can do so, but if you are unable to do that, DON’T BUY THIS EXTREMELY COSTLY SOFTWARE– BEWARE! IF THERE IS A MONEY BACK GUARANTEE –it is not honored!
They agreed to a refund only after I contacted the BBB in July and still have not done so. However, for the last 2 days they have put me in the rotation system and are now sending emails «We want you back.» Really? Give me back my $ 2295.00 Confusionsoft, what you have done is just unethical.

Please don’t do business with Infusion soft read the bad reviews stay away from this company. we signed up with them and its been a nightmare, very disorganized, bad customer service after 2 months of dealing with people at Infusion soft who didnt know what they were doing we gave up and cancelled. We were told by Infusion soft there is no free one on one session to learn the program just to watch the videos witch doesnt make sense, after complaining 2 weeks later, a manager told us we had a 1 hour session. We had our session scheduled a week later but I never got a call or an email, so after speaking to managers, it seems there was an excuse for everything, the transfer of excel data or any kind of data to infusion from any kind of source is no good. In short, terrible customer service, great sales department and VERY VERY expensive mistake.
I have a small business, est 1998, 25 employees, about 3,000 clients a year.
We have a small online marketing department, focused on internet promotions.
In Feb 2015 I attended an Digital Marketing conference, Traffic & Conversion, in San Diego, where I was introduced to Infusionsoft.
To say I was impressed is an understatement. They came with amazing stories, client references, personal recommendations from Ryan Deiss (an internet marketing guru).
But it was expensive, so I held off.
Then I attended their ICON2015 conference in Phoenix, and again got the sales talk.
In March 2015, I enrolled, paid out a couple of thousand dollars, and started re-​training my staff. Not just the marketing staff, but all my employees, on the upgrade to a «better» online based CRM and how to effectively use emails and other tools.
Then came the problems. First, Infusionsoft could not import our database of 12,000 clients. Issues with fields, platform, etc. I had to hire a programmer to convert our data.
Then I discovered that many of the features required additional apps, which cost more.
Implementation turned into a nightmare.
We were spending hours everyday, for weeks, trying to get things working.
I started complaining about it being too complicated. I was told I should hire a full-​time specialist ($ 50−60K/yr), or attend ‘Infusionsoft University” which is another $ 7,000.
When I tried to cancel, they referred me to a specialist firm, Think Automate Grow.
It started well, and after a few days over two weeks working with them, I was encouraged.
Sadly, they too just upped and left — I was initially told they were busy.
After three weeks of nothing happening, I contacted my Infusionsoft people, and told them I (again) wanted to cancel, as nothing had been implemented yet.
In July I complained again, and again, a supervisor «R» REDACTED of ThinkAutomateGrow contacted me.
Offered his apologies:
«Thank you for taking my call today. I am very sorry about the experience you have had across the board. I would very much like to help you be successful in the future. I have also sent over my recommendations to „A“ (REDACTED) and I am hopeful that will help with what you are asking for today. I also sent a timeline of events to Digital Marketer so they are aware that you are 100% Infusionsoft’s customer and not directly our customer. When you contacted Digital Marketer, they contacted me directly.»
I quote because one of the tactics used by these guys is to constantly switch handlers, so you keep thinking something is being done.
In August 2015, yes, you read that right, FIVE MONTHS LATER, I finally had had enough.
I asked them to stop charging my credit card, and to cancel my account.
Yes, they tried again to switch me to someone else, but after many thousands of dollars, I had had enough.
I requested a refund of 80% of the fees paid.
They agreed, but as of September 8^th, 2015, not a dollar has been refunded.
I should mention I think digital marketing is important. I still think using someone such as IS is needed, as are many of the other partner companies, CustomerHub, Digital Marketing, etc.
But they need to take better care of their clients, and inform prospective small businesses of the risks and the need for experienced implementation. The upfront costs of $ 2,000-$ 5,000 are a drop compared to what it will eventually cost.
I don’t often write negative reviews on Unilocal. As a business owner, I rely on good reviews, and understand the damage a bad review can cause. I have given Infusionsoft multiple opportunities (and months) to fix this. I think their focus on selling new clients, and hope the unhappy ones will eventually go away.

The answer is ZERO. ZERO clients, and ZERO emails.
Our database conversion was never completed.
Input forms were never done.
I believe our costs in time and cash paid out to be around $ 18,000.
The funny part in this, just today, I received another email from them asking me to return.

I invested in Infusionsoft over 3 years ago. I will admit it wasn’t easy for me at the start because I wasn’t tech savvy at all and didn’t even know what a CRM was for before I bought it. But I didn’t give up and kept plugging away at things. Also, I was fortunate enough to meet an amazing ICP coach in Kelsey Bratcher who single handedly implemented my app in less than a couple weeks. Almost immediately after being set up properly, I was seeing measurable results. Since then I have sunk over 350 hours of hard work into this app in transforming my business. I have since tripled my revenues and have lowered my working hours by as much as 30% due to the power of automation, having a platform for my people to work off of thats measurable, and being more strategic with how I run my business. To all those negative comments I’ve read, I will humbly say that Infusionsoft isn’t the answer to all your problems and won’t transform your business by itself. But its an unbelievable tool if implemented correctly and can be a major game changer in your business if properly utilized. It does require hard work, expertise, and commitment as anything worthwhile in life is. But if you are willing to put in the time and effort then you can pretty much do anything you want with this incredible piece of software. If you aren’t a techy like myself, then I highly recommend you get an Infusionsoft coach that you connect well with to help you since it will save you tons of time versus the trial and error method that I did. Terrible company.
Minimum 2k signup fee for their service. Simply put — if you have to pay $ 2,000 to learn how to use a piece of software — it should tell you something about how intuitive it is to use (hint: it’s a mess) (hint #2 — that signup few goes straight to the affiliate who referred you)
Terrible customer service and bad development practices. 95% of people at IS work in sales. It shows in their culture and in their product.
It’s impossible to leave. They have some of the shadiest cancellation policies, make it nigh-​impossible to leave and charge you for the next billing cycle. Incredibly shady.
I’m embarrassed that I ever did business with them.

Attention: Do not subscribe to this solution if you have an existing CRM and/​or don’t have about 20 hours per week over four weeks to attend training and setup campaigns. They push their products to small businesses but I don’t see how a business owner can set up the product, take care of sales, and do the actual work. Don’t get me wrong this is probably a great solution for a mid-​size small business that can have a full time resource dedicated to migrating data and setting up the application but not for a small 10 – 20 employee shop.
As far as the company, the people are very nice and even during the cancellation process after a few emails and two phone calls Tara the Loyality Manager was very polite and took my feedback like a champ. By the way, you are REQUIRED to speak with someone before they cancel your account.
My goal with using Infusionsoft was simple, I wanted to convert more leads to sales but after a little over 20 days of using the product I was only able to setup a simple broadcast message. The biggest negative aspect of the application was the setup and that it did not integrate with my CRM even though the Sales person assured me that it would. This meant that my staff would have enter contacts into Infusionsoft and then our existing CRM that we have been using for about 4 years.
As of today, I cancelled my plan with only about 20 days with Infusionsoft. I did pay for the setup and first month subscription so it was a big hit to the budget but not worth the very limited use and the extensive setup.
Lastly, if you are looking for a quick solution the best tip I can give you is to find something that integrate with your existing CRM. Don’t take the sales persons word for it, speak to tech support or get them to put it in writing. I supported and tested enterprise software for 12 years and our slogan was «install in minutes and sets up in hours.» If I were going to create a slogan for Infusionsoft It would have to be «Login in seconds and configuring in months.»

If you are an entrepreneur and you love small business, you will love Infusionsoft. As one of their original clients, I can say the passion for small business success at this company is unmatched. When I first met the founders in the very early days, they were creating basic databases. They have turned their love for relationship marketing, problem-​solving and helping entrepreneurs into one of the fastest-​growing and most successful companies in the industry. If you are looking for a CRM with lots of power and features, this one is for you. Some people have and will make negative posts about this sales and marketing CRM platform. Infusionsoft is a bit complicated, and in order to be that powerful — and if you want to be successful — you must invest the time and money to attain the success they have assisted thousands of companies reach. They provide top-​notch training and small biz conferences like #ICON to get your sales machine off the ground. I give Infusionsoft five stars.

Quit Calling Me!!! Holy crap I signed up online to get more info, someone called me within 2 min and I talked to them for 20min, decided it was not right for my business. Since then I get called everyday, sometimes 2x a day. Asked to get taken off there call list but I hasn’t stopped!

Many of you may be wondering if you can trust infusionsoft… well in short no you cannot. Here is the reason why… So I’m a sole-​proprietor of a business in which I was looking for something to handle all or the majority of the online aspect to my business. I came across infusionsoft which seems a little pricey ($ 200per month) but I thought hey at least everything will be in one place… I contacted infusionsoft to ask some questions and they were happy to give me some answer (misleading answers)…I didn’t really get a demo run for myself to play with the interface before purchasing but i explained how my business is a mobile business and I need to be able to handle everything on the go. The sales rep explained that I wouldn’t have a problem handling things on the go and how much infusionsoft will help my business grow and so on. I talked to him for a bit and thought it might be worth going with that and decided to go for it… the rep then tells me that there’s a $ 2000 dollar start up cost which then set me off balance… I told him $ 2000 is very steep and not in my budget and he then tells me to hold on a second and comes back to say «I’ve got great news were having a promotion where we can break up the payment in small amounts which we will just add to the monthly»…I the say «okay so then your going to break it up and I basically pay until it’s paid of or if I decide to cancel» he the says yes that’s correct and that was that… I thought awesome the price isn’t that much a difference now so let’s get started using the awesome tool (or so I thought)…so after signing up this start up cost included like 3 online meeting to show me one on one how to use the system a little bit just to get comfortable. I spend time importing contacts from my previous crm online and adding tags and connections manually and finally once I was done I could go ahead to use the system on the go and start to notice that I was scammed into thinking there was a mobile friendly system which there is not! I then email that I will be cutting my loses short and canceling my account. I receive an email I cannot cancel be email and that I will need to call in… so I call in and they say okay well before they can cancel someone will be calling me to understand my reason for canceling… I tell the rep why and I’m told the lady who will call me still will want to call me herself… at this point I’m confused and frustrated how I cannot cancel unless speaking to a specific person… later I finally get a call back from «****» and she then asks me why I cancelled and explained that they are not mobile friendly and she says they are and they have a new app which I can see all my contacts on… I check out the app and I cannot edit contact info and I can only view a contact… in my business I need to send invoices on the go, be able to create new contacts on the go from clients calling my cell phone… I cannot do anything be see EXISTING contacts… I then tell her that’s not being mobile friendly as there is no functionality… how is that even close to what I can do on a desktop… I tell her listen when you guys get something functional give me a call back thought right now I want to cancel… she then says she’s do so and we part from there… Later on I start to find out I’m getting emails from them saying i owe them $ 1’200 dollars… at this point I’m tired of them and totally ignore them and as a bit of time goes by we now arrive to the present where they are threading to send my account to collections dispite the agreement we had at the beginning or our sour relationship! I’ve explained to them the situation and ***** there account collection rep tells me to contact «****» as he says she can help me so I do, **** then tells me there’s nothing she can do and how she told me during our last convo about my «responsibility» accourd ing to her in paying the bill… I told her how we never spoke about anything but how they are not mobile friendly… she says for me to speak to ***** and that he can help me… I explain to her ***** told me to talk to her and I have yet to receive a response from her now. it seems I’m now going to be tossed around abit! HANDS DOWN IN MY TOP 5 WORST CUSTOMER CARE EXPERIENCES!

I just attended #icon14, what an amazing company! I love our Infusoinsoft apps and am impressed with the companies ability cast its vision to its own organization and its entire customer base who have become infusionsoft vision casters as well. Great company to work with.

Excellent software and company. It’s always a pleasure to be in their building and I love how everyone there seems to love their job. I’ve been using Infusionsoft for our company, Loud Rumor, for 7 months now and couldn’t be happier. If you own a small business… This is a great addition to your marketing and operations systems.
