Today is the second massage I have received from this place! Both times have been great. Today I did a couples massage with my boyfriend. He had Tiffany I had Suzanne. Both were awesome very accommodating. We did the 30 minute sauna then we did 60 minute Maui relaxation massage. This was my boyfriends first massage he was a little nervous. Tiffany went out of her way to make sure he remained comfortable the whole time. As for Suzanne she amazing as well from start to finish. I always recommend this place to my friends and family. Can’t wait to return!

I’ve had some great massages at HES, and have always been happy. Yesterday’s back to back Nui massages were so amazing I had to write a review. Suzanne was absolutely incredible! This massage was perfect on all levels, pressure included. She completely relaxed my body from head to toes. Just what I needed.

This was a wonderful experience. My wife and I enjoyed a couple’s massage and walked out very pleased. We also walked out with a membership.

On my first visit I would have given this place 4 stars. Upon my second the masseuse clearly had no clue what she was doing, I am generally not a picky person but, worst massage ever. Then the floor in the steam room squished and slushed around like a wet sponge. If you want a decent massage and to avoid breathing mold go elsewhere.

Wonderful experience! Deborah was amazing, added many of her own techniques learned from all over the world. I had the Maui Relaxation massage. It was perfect!

I purchased a Groupon for $ 114 to get a massage. I called to schedule an appointment but because I had been there one time in the past (was given to me as a gift) I wasn’t allowed to use the groupon. I asked what could be done and the person stated that I could give my groupon as a gift or try to get my money back. No accommodation was offered and I was rudely told that the groupon states it’s for first time clients only. Needless to say, this place will never get my business or the business of anyone I know that is looking for a massage.

I got my locker key and my spa flipflops first then, escorted to my locker where my robe was waiting for me. I received the 50 min LomiLomi massage, t’was great but next time I will be asking for a woman masseuse, although mine was great I got a guy, would of just preferred like a woman’s touch (much softer, not as tough) After my massage I went to take a shower, There was a total of seven showerhead I did use the body ones and the two top ones. Was a very clean put together business. I would definitely recommend this spa to friends and family members!

Don’t settle for a cookie cutter massage experience, the Hawaiian Experience Spa will leave you feeling pampered. I can’t wait to go back! The spa has a very soothing, mellow vibe. I’ll never go back to Massage Envy!

We just had our third visit at the spa for a 90 minute Lomi Lomi for couples. It was pure bliss! Joining the spa was one of the best choices we’ve made!

I’ve been a member since 2011 and I’ll never want to join another spa as long as Hawaiian Experience Spa is still around! I am very picky about who I get my massages from, and they are equally as picky about hiring quality therapists. I love how I can look on the website and go to each therapist’s profile to see what massage techniques they specialize in, their experience level, and what motivates them to be a massage therapist. I also love the skincare treatments here, and the Eminence brand is one of the best around in my opinion (Especially since it’s cruelty free). Everyone that works here has been friendly and it’s definitely a very relaxing environment to be in.
Last but not least, if I could afford the accompanying water bill and remodeling project cost, the multiple head showers they have here would be something that I’d love in my dream shower!

My husband and I loved our experience!!! Not only was our massage wonderful, our therapists were completely focused on us and the spa itself is beyond relaxing!!! Loved the amazing shower, loved the chocolates in our locker and LOVED our after massage sorbet dessert! Our therapists were Jay and Debra and they did an amazing job and they were extremely respectful of our needs, I would extremely recommend that you go and see them!!!”

Well, I think everyone covers the initial basics pretty well…
You arrive, you’re given your key to your locker which holds your giant robe and flip flops, you sit in the comfortable waiting room (with complimentary snacks, tea and water) and then… you are called back in to the lovely room of zen.
Pick your poison… sugar scrub, lomi lomi, salt scrub, and so on and so on… they have SO MANY options! After my first experience I was hooked. I immediately signed up for a membership because I knew I would return. Which I have, over… and over. I gave the lomi lomi a try as suggested and it was not my cup of tea. I’m sure that if I had loosened up I would have enjoyed the session much more, but I prefer the sheet and the coverage. I believe they call what I get, the more traditional, the Numi? I stick with that so that I get the most from my sessions, fullllll relation. :)
Zach is a fantastic therapist and when scheduling I do my best to make my way in when he is available. He is good about going through my chart and asking about any focus areas. The staff here is always fantastic and welcoming. There have been a couple times I’ve called in about different services, completely lost on what to book and they have been amazingly patient and happy to educate me on their offerings!
The contract that you sign for a membership lasts for 12 months. There were a few months that I needed to take off from the payments and I called in to ask questions. They were very understanding and provided me with instructions on how to put in a request. I emailed the owners, the request was approved and they payments were put on hold for 4 months. Very accommodating and customer service driven.
I will continue to return and recommend friends to check it out!

Love it! Very clean and cozy. The staff are very nice and professional. I have had several massage therapists there, today I had Jordan aka Jay. Best one yet! I highly recommend this spa and the membership they offer.

I am in shock by what has happened to me from Hawaiian Experience Spa.
Booking with this spa is a joke. They have one esthetician who only works a couple days. I will say she is a kind and courteous esthetician, this review has nothing to do with her. With how busy they probably get one esthetician? As someone who works full time and goes to school full time it was a hassle and chore to get an appointment booked as they never had any preferable times for me. It was very inconvenient.
About two weeks ago, I booked a Saturday appointment at 11:00. This time is again, inconvenient for me because I am up at 4:00 AM daily. I went with it though because what other choice do I have. The girl over the phone told me the time and date and I wrote it down as we spoke. I put the note on the fridge. That Saturday rolls around and I wait all morning from 4:00 to 11:00 and show up for my appointment. I walk in and they ask if I have an appointment. Yes, I do. Oh, you are next Saturday they say. Really? I say okay, I’ve been waiting all morning but that’s fine I’ll come in next Saturday. I’m irritated but don’t say anything else and just leave. They do not seem to care at all, no apologies or anything. It’s alright, I guess the fact that their customers have schedules and lives outside of the spa means absolutely nothing to them!
So, now comes the straw that broke the camels back and got me to write this review. I let them know via email that I had to cancel the membership as I am moving and it would be a 20 minute drive one way. I get an email back saying there is a $ 200 cancellation fee per the contract. I did not sign the contract, my husband went and signed up for this place because he was wanting to be sweet and surprise me. I would never have signed the contract after reading the terms. I read the contract, yes it does state there is a cancellation fee. I emailed this Davis guy back, I believe he is the owner. I explained the situation and asked if he could make an exception as I did not even sign and I am not going to be able to get there with my schedule. I also offered to repay the free first facial that we received as a concession when we signed up. I also asked why they did not briefly go over this when my husband signed? I’m not talking reading the whole thing. I’m talking spending 1 – 2 minutes skimming before he signed. He knew we were moving and would not have signed had he known there was a contract break fee. We all know 90% of people do not actually read contracts before signing. I’m one of the 10% that does, but again, I was not there to sign MY agreement. Now let me clarify, I fully understand that he signed a contract and I know what a contract entails. I have been a property manager for 10 years and I can go over a 30 page rental contract in my sleep. However, one of the things I ALWAYS do to avoid situations like this is to briefly go over the lease break fee before they sign it. This way, if they need to break their contract they aren’t thrown a back by the charges. They don’t feel like I conned them into something. The way Hawaiian Experience went about this is just tacky and I feel like I just bought a lemon used car.
After emailing with Davis I decided to just stick it out and pay per month and just drive 40 minutes per visit. I would rather pay and receive something than pay $ 200 for nothing. He mentioned that there was a $ 100 break fee after 6 months, I figured I’d just do that. I went in for my facial yesterday and was polite. I was not super sweet like I typically am but I was not rude either. Did my normal thing, tipped the esthetician thank you and all that fun stuff. I then get an email a couple hours later (shown in the pics) that Davis decided to cancel my membership and charge my card. After I was told of the fee, I did not say I wanted to cancel and I did not authorize to charge. One cannot just decide to charge my card as they so please. Had I initiated the cancel, yes charge the card. However, if the owner decided they want to cancel my membership at their discretion they cannot just charge as they.
I was not rude, disorderly, or threatening to Davis or any of his staff. He decided to cancel me based on the fact that I was questioning his policies and my situation. He obviously is unable to deal with upset customers. Someone like that should not be in the business of customer service. I have been dealing with irate people for some time now, and dealing with some that are going through the eviction process. I have always gone out of my way to assist and be as courteous as I can even in the worst situations. This guy just can not do it. He emailed back and forth with someone who disagreed with him and just decided to run from rather than fix the situation. He needs to gain some customer service skills and learn how to deal with people. Just because you are in the spa business does not mean all will always be sunshine and roses! Good luck! This was my first time here for a 4 hour massage. Before I got here, I was worried that it wasn’t as good as i expected. The package (including 18% gratuity) was over $ 400 including 30 minutes sausa, 60 minutes hot stone massage, 120 minutes of Advance therapeutic and 60 minutes Lomi Lomi massage. I have to say this: it was worth every penny of it. The front desk, manager, as well as the therapists were polite and professional. They were all constantly great! With little to no instruction, they could «feel» where my trouble spots were and had it taken care of. The waiting area is my favorite. It has the view of the lake and you could enjoy tea, water, fruits and mixed nuts that were absolutely delicious while waiting for your therapist. Did I tell you how amazing their showers were? all of their products were mostly coconut base and i LOVE IT! I also enjoy the Hawaii music that they played in the background. so relaxing…
As soon as i’m done with my membership at another location, I’ll definitely join this place and come back here again. Thanks again for such an amazing experience.

Aloha! Oh my goodness! This place is truly an experience! If you have never tried a Lomi Lomi massage, do so! The Lomi Lomi requires that you not wear any articles of clothing. When you first go in, you get a key to your locker to change out into a provided robe and your sized slippers. Then you go to the waiting lounge area to enjoy snacks from the tiki bar if you’re there early. Once you’re in, the room is set up like a regular massage place with dim lighting, massage table, and music. You will be laying on the table itself — not on the sheet. However, you are covered with the sheet initially. Then the sheet gets removed and your sacred areas are professionally covered with a cloth. You will be drizzled and drenched with warm coconut oil — smells good, feels good surprisingly! You can request the type of pressure to your liking. I always enjoy deep pressure for the back/​shoulder/​neck area. They may climb the table, if you are comfortable with it, in order to apply more pressure, especially for my back. Then before you know it, those minutes feel so short that you wish you could do it all day!
Maritza made my experience so relaxing and she really did an awesome job with my knotted back. After those glorious minutes were done, I enjoyed a spa-​like shower (waterfall, jet, and regular shower heads all streaming at once) using their quality, nicely scented products — shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and coconut face wash. Then I came out refreshed and helped myself to more snacks and a lake view! All in all — I would say it was well worth it!
If it’s your first time, you can get any of their massages for member price. For example, $ 59 for 50 minutes instead of $ 99. They do accept the Spa Gift finder card. If you join and become a member online before your first appointment, you get a free massage or facial I believe.

This is, by far, the best massage I’ve ever had. I went for the Ultimate Relaxation Massage due to the stress of our move and the massage was what I needed.
When I arrived, I was cheerfully greeted by the person behind the front desk. She passed me onto someone else, and there was «new comer paperwork» that needed to be filled out, but it could wait. I was assigned a locker, and it contained a large comfy robe and some sandals. I changed and went to the lounge.
While in the lounge I completed my paperwork and relaxed listening to Hawaiian music. There appeared to be munchies laid out, but I really didn’t look. A few minutes later I was told that Suzanne would be ready shortly. This was not a problem, as I arrived early. I was also asked if I needed anything.
The massage was outstanding! Normal massage for the front and Lomi Lomi for the back. Suzanne, of course, asked me where she should focus, and I explained the normal stress areas, and my feet. I love a good foot massage.
The pressure was perfect, and of course she asked frequently during the massage how it was. I fell asleep several times, only to wake myself up with my snoring. My 90 minutes flew by.
After the massage, I was offered one of the shower rooms. These are multi-​headed rooms which are nearly as relaxing as the massages. The water was nice and hot, and then very cold when I switched it at the end.
All in all, I highly recommend the Hawaiian Experience Spa and hope to return again very soon!

At The Aloha Festival I purchased a certificate for a 50 minute Lomi Lomi Massage at the Hawaiian Experience Spa in Chandler. I’m so glad I did!
I am a pretty experienced spa goer-​mainly for massage. I was even a member of the «Envy» place for awhile (but didn’t care for the constant turnover of seemingly inexperienced therapists).
I was not sure what this place would be like-​or what a Lomi Lomi was. On a dark and rainy Friday night I found out!
The front desk gal was very sweet, energetic and interested in helping me. I really liked her. I felt welcomed AND like she really cared.
The place is very cute. Nicely done with all natural materials-​and pretty high quality. Bamboo and slate flooring, etc. Bathrooms are VERY nice, showers looked terrific and they have two light therapy saunas you can use before hand ($ 1.00 per minute-​20 min minimum) which looked very interesting.
There are three small but private locker rooms which are done very well. All the accoutrements needed, including decent robes, wonderful sandals and some lotions, etc. They even leave you a cute chocolate in the locker.
The waiting room is not huge but is very cozy, has a nice view, and offers munchies: tea, etc. I was very comfortable waiting.
Paperwork was very professional and asked a lot of questions. And after my therapist (Maritza) came to get me, she went over it with me. She asked a few questions and asked me if I had any questions. She explained what a Lomi Lomi was, and gave me a little (Hawaiian) historical background on it. Very interesting.
The room was nice, music great. Bed very big and so soft and comfortable. She was terrific. I was melting into the table almost immediately. I loved the coconut oil. My skin felt like silk for the rest of the night (I left the oil on).
For the price they charge «members» it blows away the competition. There is NO comparison –they should have NO Envy of their biggest competitor. It is a 95% Upscale –Über– Spa experience, for 40−50% of the cost.
Needless to say, I joined! I can’t wait to try the Esthetician –and a facial.
If there any are Envy folks out there, give this place a try. You won’t look back to that crowded cattle car waiting room and 18 year old therapist!
And DO try the fantastic Lomi Lomi.

I still love the place, it’s just very hard to get in if you don’t book a couple of weeks out, and if you want evenings, it’s mainly a male massage therapist available. Seems like everyone stops at 4−5PM. This is tough if you work and want to go after work. And my FAVORITE therapist has the same two days off I do! DRAT!
I keep calling, and trying, and I now have 5 massages built up! I did ask about what happens if I can’t use them all before my 1 year anniversary (because as much as I really like this place, I need to be able to GET IN to use them!). It goes to pricing as usual-​it doesn’t hold as worth a massage. That’s disappointing. Massage Envy (at least USED TO) keep it as worth one massage on books-​it didn’t run out.
So I must figure out HOW to use 5 within 2 months, and I won’t be re-​newing-​even though I wish I could! If I could get in easily-I’d love to. So SAD!
Guess I’ll shop around-​darn it!

The massage was very nice and the atmosphere is also nice but trying to cancel the membership is a hassle. You have to e mail them that’s the only way! no one to call and nothing on the website.
They got back to me in about a week and told me that there is a one year contract and it’s 200 dollars to cancel early. They told it says so on their agreement I don’t remember it but oh well. So i suspended my account for 4 months then going to end it. I will not be back. I’m going back to hand and stone. They let you compound your membership to upgrade your service and have no termination fee.
