Hampton Inn Phoenix/Chandler

Had to come into town for training stayed her and room was very clean the breakfast was real good fresh every day. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Had small issue with tv and to maintainence guy had it handled within an hour. The a/​c is on point set at 60 and stayed ther room was a freezer just how I like it will defanetly return if back in town.

We booked the room at this hotel because it was our wedding night and we wanted the Jacuzzi tub that they have in some of their rooms. We had a ton of people at our house and wanted our wedding night to ourselves. Not too much to ask right?
We booked the reservation through the Hampton’s site online about a month in advance and made sure the confirmation email came in a few days before our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, about an hour before we are to be married, my husband gets a call from the Hampton saying they don’t have our room. The people who booked there had decided to stay another night and they didn’t have another room like the one we booked. The room itself was a little more pricey because of the tub, so the guy offered to take $ 30 off the replacement room that he claimed was an upgrade because it had a couch and small fridge then asked: «do you want it or not?» He was incredibly rude to us on the phone and said that he had left a message on our «answering machine» earlier that day. We were home all day with wedding staging, have no answering machine and only have cell phones, both of which had no message on them. We weren’t sure what to do and were really upset, but were in such a rush with everything else we just took whatever he had and said we would talk to the desk when we got checked in. Frustrating that a hotel wouldn’t move the people who were staying past their reserved time, so we could have the room they said would be available. I have had extended stays at higher end hotels and that is what they have done, moved me to another room because I, as the guest, extended my visit. I guess the Hampton doesn’t work under those terms.
On a positive note…
The guy at the front desk was very friendly. We told him our situation and we were given a room for the night for free. The room was clean, quiet and at the level that I would expect for a Hampton/​Hilton family brand. Just wanted that relaxing tub instead of a couch. :(
We were questioned again by the manager the next morning, but the look on her face when I explained the «rude guy with the French accent» told me this wasn’t the first time they had trouble like this. I’m not sure that we will be back, especially if we cannot be sure we will get the room we book at the time of the reservation.

I am a Hampton junkie, well Hilton brand junkie as I am generally never disappointed by my stays at their hotels. This was no different. Super clean, well kept and nice Hampton right off the I-​10 and super close to lots of services within walking distance.
Front desk staff was great, very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean, quiet with of course super soft wonderful beds and pillows. Breakfast in the morning was solid… I love their oatmeal and the gal who made it did it the right way where it was not soupy! (win!)
Would stay here again.

The front desk agent was very friendly and quick to check me in. Great experience! I don’t come to Chandler, AZ often but if I do I’ll definitely stay again.

I travel with work and absolutely love staying at Hilton Hotels. I am a Hilton Honors Member and up until my experience with this specific location has been great. I was shocked at the bad customer service at this location. I made a reservation through the app on my phone late Thursday night for the same night. I just landed from a delayed flight and didn’t want to drive all the way home so I made my reservation. Ten minutes after making my reservation I cancelled it through the app because I decided to drive home because I wanted to see my kids. A few days later I noticed I was charged three times for a late cancel of $ 44.67. I was upset they charged me at all for a late cancel let alone three times. I called the front desk and the women who answered the phone wasn’t mean but she was cold and unwilling to help. I thought with my long history of loyalty with Hilton this would be resolved seamlessly. Well it wasn’t. The women explained that reservation have to be canceled 24 hours in advance. That was impossible since I made the reservation the same day and cancelled ten minutes later. She could care less. Then she said we only charged you once. Which is not the case. Now I have to file a claim through my credit card company and wait a few weeks for it to be resolved. I am disappointed that this location has failed to maintain Hiltons values.

Not a bad place as long as you get it booked under 100. A little older property with no fridge even in the suites but clean and good staff. They also offer smoking rooms which may not be a plus for everyone but in my case a big positive.

PROs: The bed was comfortable, clean, and bed bug free. Room was of a decent size and had adequate room and amenities for the price. Shower was great and everything worked in the room correctly. Fitness center was great considering its in a hotel.
CONs: During breakfast about half of the normal choices were not in stock. Even though I went to breakfast 45 mins prior to closing time the staff didn’t restock the oatmeal, butter, or boiled eggs. Also the trash and right outside of the main entrance was overflowing with garbage. Could’ve taken 3 mins to fix this.
I would recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

Very comfortable bed and our stay here was worth 5 stars. Free breakfast and coffee in the lobby. We felt like we were at home. Will definitely come back.

Not the best Hampton Inn but it was OK. The beds are great ad the rooms were nice. Almost outdated but for a quick nights stay they will work. There is a better Hampton just around the way that is newer and nicer then this one and if I was bringing the kids and the wife I would stay there for sure.

I booked a room with a Jacuzzi for a night to celebrate my anniversary. As I got here, they informed me that my room had a problem and was not available. That devastated me since it was one of my gifts to my husband, but the they went above and beyond to make me happy. Josh the assistant manager gave me 2 free stays and a bottle of wine. This Is what I call customer service !

So upon arrival I was sorta hoping for a good place to stay but compared to other places I’ve stayed, this place is completely lackluster
I noticed on my way to the room that the gym was incredibly tiny and only had 3 stationary stations and not even a good pair of dumbbells, not to mention the broom closet gym had no door handle at all!
Passing where I’m guessing the breakfast is going to be it’s small and uninviting. And not to mention I think the night crew left their pizza box on the counter…
And to add insult to injury the room we had reserved wasn’t the one we were expecting. We needed two beds and ended up getting stuck in a room with bed and a pull out…
So to compensate they offered to give us 10k points to make up for it… I guess thats ok?
For staying only the night I guess it’s ok but I wish it was a little better

I don’t often stay at hotels and when I do, I usually bring my own towels and a sleep sheet (serious skin allergies unfortunately) And this trip was super last minute and I forgot. So, I decided to just see what happened — and for the first time in years — I didn’t have a bad reaction. I really enjoyed my stay. We were there for 4 nights and had to check in late. When we got there the woman at the desk was really nice and got us checked in and even gave us some snacks and water (apparently my sister has some kind of honors card). The room was very clean (a quick wet wipe revealed no dirt on the counters, desk, tub or tv area) and the beds were quite comfy. Breakfast was good. Hot continental and we enjoyed it. We also appreciated the fruit infused water in the lobby. Check out was easy and the next time we come home this is where we’ll stay if we need a hotel.

My wife and I have usually stayed at Hampton Inns when we have traveled, and we are usually very satisfied. However, at this particular Hampton Inn, wherein we stayed 3 nights, we were VERY unimpressed. I reserved this hotel through
. Upon arrival, we discovered that they had given us a room tailored to the ADA (those with disabilities). Such rooms have NO counters in the bathrooms and therefore no area to place your toiletries and cosmetics. When I went to the front desk to request another room, the desk clerk (Liz) stated that that room was the one I reserved, which was NOT the case and I refuted that. She even went on to say that some hotels even give guests «smoking» rooms despite a «non-​smoking» request. I vocally refuted that, a bit irritated by her creating a very risky discussion. At first, she stated that they were all sold out but then another desk clerk somehow advised her that they accommodate me. With that, she just stood and just stared at her computer monitor for a prolonged period of time while this other clerk assisted two other incoming guests. (It was very awkward and I even thought that maybe she was having motionless seizure.). She finally assigned us another room as we waited and waited. IT WAS AWKWARD like I have never experienced before. Apologies? NONE.
The complimentary breakfast, which at all other Hamptons are excellent, was on par with nothing more than a continental breakfast… with a very weird egg offering and cereals/​waffles/​breads/​toasts.
As far as warm receptions and friendliness, the desk clerks were unconcerned and ambivalent. The only warmth that we experienced was from the room cleaning staff who were proactively friendly and gracious.
We will NOT stay at this Hampton Inn again, and probably not others now. (Just several blocks away on 50^th Street is a Holiday Inn Express and had forgotten that we stayed there before and were very pleased. It is right next to a Cracker Barrel Restaurant that offers a phenomenal breakfast menu!!)
(A «2-​Star» rating is still a bit of a stretch… but given here only because the hotel was satisfactorily clean.)

This hotel was very nice. Everything in the room was clean and in working order. It’s within walking distance to a few good places to eat and within a mile from what seemed to be a major strip mall that pretty much has everything. It’s also right off I-​10 which is convenient.
I have to say that their staff was awesome! They were so friendly! We travel with our 2 year old and they always made sure to talk with him and be just as friendly with him as they were with us. They all just seemed like genuinely nice people.
The breakfast was good. The eggs were always hot and there was plenty of other options to choose from, including healthy. The coffee was always fresh and hot, which is always a plus in my book!
I would definitely stay here again!

We decided to have a litte staycation and stay at the Hampton. We made a great choice, the staff was friendly, the beds were comfy and the breakfast was pretty good. The only problem we had was the jacuzzi tub took forever to fill, but once filled it was heaven =)

Like other Hampton Inn’s, the Chandler location offers a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. The hotel appears to have been renovated in the past few years, with updated bathroom fixtures, and bedroom furniture.
Ditto Rach, the staff is extremely friendly.
Only complaint is the super small exercise room. Not a big deal, but something to mention.
While I did enjoy my stay, nothing gave me that «wow» factor to justify rating the location 5-​stars

It was my first time visiting Arizona and the staff at the Hampton Inn made it a wonderful stay. They even upgraded our room upon arrival! What a pleasant experience for such an affordable price. It is also in a very convenient location as well!
