Green ServPro

Had Green Serv Pro come out to give me a quote on rocking my front yard. Tony was very helpful with getting me everything in a timely manner, They did a great job with the install and Tony is great to work with. Recommended them for a yard clean up and they did a great job there too. I currently have a quarterly maintenance with them and they are always timely. If ever there is anything i need, they are always quick to return my calls. I would recommend tony and his crew Amy day of the week.

Fast and great service. They reached out and were able to complete the job the same day. My front yard looks great. Seemed a little pricy at first, but the work was done great!

Twice I scheduled yard service with this company. Both times, I received no communication on when the service would take place. Each time I called to ask when. I was given incorrect information and as a result took 3 days of work off waiting for them to show up at my house. The first time, I went out of my way to reschedule and get the work done. On the second appointment, I just cancelled by email after they no-​showed. They provided no apology, no rescheduling, nothing. They did provide a BS excuse about rescheduling to accommodate my busy schedule.
On the positive side, they are so incompetent that they didn’t invoice me for 6 months after the first service. I got to pay really late and keep my money in the bank.

I have no doubt in mind that this place will run itself out of business. Why you ask? Because the owner has no relationship with his employees and lacks basic communication with them. I asked for three of our trees to be trimmed for a 7′ foot clearance to abide by city regulations and this company HACKED MY TREES IN HALF. Think I’m joking? Check out this pic:
The owner did replace the trees a few days with stupid baby trees that are going to take forever to grow. To add this huge mistake, the employees left the water running all day and when we came home our back yard was flooded.
I really don’t understand how the business owner can put his name out there and then do just a horrible job day after day.
If you’re looking for quality tree-​trimming service try Hayward Tree Services. They are expensive but at least you know they won’t hack your trees in half:

–Broke the door on my sprinkler timer (I have it on security camera)
–Moved my giant trash-​bin to the back corner of my yard and never moved it back.
–Broke my sprinkler valve and flooded my yard, then blamed it on me (I was in LA at the time).
–Billed me the full amount for all work-​done and also stuck me with a $ 300 water bill.
This company is awful — the owner has a huge problem with blaming the customer. They dont give a crap about your personal property either.
GO ELSEWHERE

I was moving out of a rental property and needed to have the rainforest that had grown in the backyard cleared out. I worked with Natalie who was WONDERFUL and very communicative throughout the process. She made sure that I had all of the answers to my questions and helped me get the date best for me and their crew scheduled. The guys came on the day and time promised and did a good job. Not much on the expectation scale to be honest; just wanted everything cleared out so I could get my deposit back. They went above and beyond and also pruned the tree and shrubs which I hadn’t asked them to do. Given all of the other local companies I reached out to who either didn’t bother to even answer me or gave me some totally outrageous quote given what I needed done, Green ServPro was a welcome change.

NOT recommended.
I emailed the company after they came out and I had the same issue as another person on here. they defended the unprofessional work.
First — They failed to show up on the first appointment. I should have just canceled. I had to call them to find out the status. They had a different employee call me back about 4 hours later to say the truck broke down. So, it does happen sometimes and I figured I’d over look it and give them a shot. The appraisal was reasonable and it all seemed up and up. My mistake.
Second — They were supposed to repair a single leak in my drip system, check for additional leaks, set the timer, etc but they didn’t even bother to turn the water supply on… but I still got billed for it all. The repair job was a patch job using discarded garden hose that wasn’t even properly beneath the surface when it was finished. It wasn’t leaking anymore after I turned on the water so maybe I could over look one more lazy thing they did? My mistake!
Third — The back yard was literally a hazard after they finished it. I had to cancel a party I had planned. Oh boy, my mistake!!!
Fourth — This one pissed me off more than the first 3. I keep my side gate locked. I was promised the lock I leave 2 inches from the side gate latch would be secured prior to them leaving. IT WASN’T! They had no respect for my property nor for my dog’s space. Fortunately, I checked that gate prior to letting my dog out so she didn’t get loose or worse. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I don’t appreciate strangers entering my backyard without my knowledge or permission. Just made me glad I’m not like another person on this site that doesn’t reside at the property this company is paid to maintain since it’s quite possible that owner has been a victim or might be in the future if this company has not respect for their customers property!!!
And, to top it off, this isn’t even the end of the issues I had with this company. All that I know is I will not be letting them return.
SOO MUCH FOR THEIR 100% GUARANTEE. Not even an offer to discount the service was offered and not even an offer to return to confirm the drip system was working properly, nor clean up the HAZARD left in the backyard. Just an oops, we forgot to turn on the water and lock the side gate.
This is NOT the way to treat a customer who a company values, therefore, I’m no longer their customer.

Had them come out and look at my place for bi-​weekly maintenance. Told them we like the plants and bushes to grow natural — just trim the stragglers, cut the grass, clean up.
First visit — looked like a 4 year old got hold of a weed whacker and attacked our bushes. Called in their management, asked him to review pictures his guy took, and he defended their work!
Second visit — after telling the owner just cut the grass and clean up debris — guess what — the four year old was back
Resolution — fired them.
Worse yet, their price was 50% hiring than the last guy.

Had sod installed by them. At first they were very prompt but soon after the work was scheduled there was always a scheduling issue. After the sod was finally installed, late I might add, there were problems with the sprinkler system that they just replaced all the heads on as they were crooked and not high enough. I was told when they came to look at the sprinklers that I was keeping the grass too long. They have attempted to remedy the sprinkler issues twice now with no luck but the problem is that they used too short of a sprinkler. Previously my sprinklers were 4 inches tall, this allows them to be placed further in the ground but yet extend higher above ground but Green ServPro removed all of them and put in 2 inch sprinklers which is what is causing all the sprinkler problems Tyring to cut the grass shorter was a joke because when they laid the sod the yard was either not smoothed out well enough or they didn’t roll the sod properly because when you try to cut it some parts of the lawn end up scalped because of the uneveness of the lawn… I never had issues with the sprinklers or the uneveness of the lawn before Green ServPro removed the old lawn and resodded it. I decided to give Green ServPro one last chance and have them overseed my lawn for winter grass as they sent me an offer in my email. After attempting to contact them twice in regards to this I have yet to hear anything from them and believe that they hope I will just go away.
Dealing with the office staff is no better as the lack of communication is laughable with this company. How places like this stay in business is beyond me.

As an absent owner of a rental property it’s difficult to find a reliable maintenance company to care for your yard. Unknowing my yard was getting worse and worse, or perhaps it was laziness before I decided to look for a new service provider. When I found Green ServPro, my yard was in pretty bad shape –Dry patches, weeds and generally bad condition considering it had been receiving «professional service» for years. It took several months, soil treatments and who knows what but Larry and Team have my yard back to looking green and healthy.
The back office is also a delight to work with. Professional and regular invoicing with autopay or pay via link options, email updates regarding seasonal changes and reminders, personal emails regarding your specific property needs, etc etc. The transformation of the yard and my mental state sense switching to Green ServePro has been remarkable. I can’t recommend their services enough. Whether you live locally, have investment properties or even require on-​call seasonal needs; this is your team!
