I was having a problem after changing out an old thermostat for a new. I couldn’t get any power to the new thermostat. I checked everything, GFIs, outlets, ect. After two days without heat, I called Leonard at Fredrick and Sons. He told me that I had touched two wires together and had blown a three amp fuse in the unit. It worked. I called him back to see if I owed him any $$$$$$. He said it was his pleasure to help. WOW. I will use them from now on!

Just moved in to our new house and we needed some plumbing done. The two young men that came to do the work were very professional and courteous. We were given a very fair price for the work done, they did a great job and it was quick too. I will use Frederick and Sons for any of my future plumbing and AC needs. I highly recommend them!

Sunday evening on Labor Day weekend our AC decided it didn’t feel like working anymore… great.
We called F&S and they came out within 30 minutes.
They charged us no bs Labor Day fee, weekend fee, rush fee, etc.
Quickly diagnosed the problem and had the air blowing within an hour. We were so concerned about our dogs in the house and I don’t think they ever even noticed!
Very affordable and well worth it! We will continue to use this company and gladly refer them!

I had used another a/​c company in the east valley for years. A few weeks ago it was blowing warm air, and after replacing a capacitor ($ 300), I was told a new circuit board was needed ($ 500), he then needed permission to bypass a circuit board to keep a/​c running (? with a new capacitor?), then I’d probably need a new fan motor ($ 500), so I’d be better off buying a new a/​c ($ 5300). Really? This is the FIRST problem we’ve ever had with this a/​c! The next morning I called Fredrick and Sons and spoke to Leonard, who sent his son, Levi, out within an hour. He replaced the fan motor and it’s been cooling perfectly since. Fredrick and Sons is the type of business we need more of. I’ll be sure to tell all my friends about them too.

Great Family Business. We’ve called them several times including a backyard plumbing emergency and couple of AC service calls. They always arrive quickly and have parts on their trucks and ready to fix. Issues resolved with couple hours of initial call. Prices are very reasonable and competitive. Our experiences have been great b/​c Levi and the Techs. They always talk thru issues with you and answer all questions openly and hoenstly. And we always learn a thing or two along way as well. Have family out of town that runs HVAC business so as far as insider recommendations go these guys are top notch and highly recommended!

Just the best. Bought a new heat pump and had it installed the same day. Have used this company for plumbing and a/​c and always very pleased with the work. Leonard, Levi and crew are just the best.

I contacted this company on the recommendation from a friend. I spoke to Leonard when I called about my heat not working. He came over early in the morning while I was still asleep, and hopped on the roof and checked it out. He found the problem right away and took off to get the part. Although I slept through it, I was always kept informed via text message or voice mail. He came by the next day, swapped the part, problem solved!
Fast forward seven months: a/​c not working. Call Leonard and his son, Levi, came by the same day. This time it was another simple fix, done quickly and professionally.
Winter again, heater kaput. This is a very old unit, mind you. Levi came out to have a look. He told me he could try cleaning out the unit, but it is labor intensive (therefore, not cheap) and may not even help, ultimately it needed to be replaced. This was in late February and since he was familiar with the history, I asked if he expected the a/​c to still work. He said yes, so I decided to wait it out.
A/​C finally crapped out in August, so I called the guys, they got me a new unit, installed an additional return for better efficiency, and even helped with financing. I had them take care of a couple plumbing issues, too.
These are wonderful, caring, HONEST, professional men. Very clean and respectful. Job well done!

I use them at my 223 unit property and they are wonderful. Very timely and the best prices around! You simply cannot beat them!
